“Do small things with great love.” These words from Saint Teresa of Calcutta remind us that our daily actions, social interactions, and acts of service are opportunities to reflect the love of Christ.
As I begin my new role as principal of St. Anthony on the Lake, I truly believe that my educational and professional journey has led me to this time and place, and I feel incredibly blessed.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching diverse learners in inclusive classroom settings, supporting educators as they plan and implement high -quality instruction, helping preservice teachers develop their craft, and designing professional learning opportunities for colleagues. These experiences have prepared me for this next chapter, and I am excited to support the teachers and staff of St. Anthony on the Lake as they guide young children in becoming servant leaders.
Together, we will remain focused on providing an engaging and rigorous curriculum, fostering positive relationships, and seeking opportunities to put our faith into action. We will continue to strengthen and grow the St. Anthony on the Lake school community, ensuring that our words and actions reflect our love for Christ.
Let all that we do be done with great love.

The Young at Heart committee is planning an afternoon on Lake Geneva Tuesday, August 18 for all ages. Event includes roundtrip transportation from the parish to Lake Geneva, a two -hour and fifteen -minute “Best of the Lake” boat tour, and a full lunch.
The cost is $100 per person.

Bible Camp Peace Sculpture on Display
in the Gathering Space
The theme of being a peacemaker was woven into every aspect of this year’s Bible Camp. The 4 th and 5 th graders learned that an origami paper crane is one symbol of peace. They researched the Children’s Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan, which is dedicated to a young girl who began folding 1,000 paper cranes. Others then learned to make their own origami cranes.
The younger children learned the dove is also a symbol of peace. They painted paper doves with watercolors. The doves were then strung with the cranes to create our St. Anthony’s Peace Sculpture .

Sailboat Available
A friend of the parish who has a second home on Pewaukee Lake has decided to part ways with their 22 -foot McGregor sailboat. If not for being “up there in years,” they would be sailing it themselves. They are offering the boat to an interested parishioner in exchange for a donation to St. Anthony on the Lake.

SVdP Backpack Program
July 26 & 27
St. Vincent de Paul is collecting backpack supplies now thru of July 26 & 27. School supplies needed are backpacks, pencil boxes, folders, scissors (blunt and sharp), notebooks, filler paper, colored pencils, markers (large & small). Cash donations are also welcome and appreciated. Checks can be dropped off at the Parish Office or in the collection basket at Mass.

Highway SS July Road Repair
Beginning mid to late July, Waukesha County will be performing road repair on Highway SS from 500 feet north of Golf Road to Highway G. The work is expected to take two to three weeks. The road will be OPEN to the public traveling to St. Anthony on the Lake. Watch our website and bulletin for more details.
