Summer Stewardship in Action As parish life slows a bit during the summer months, our Facilities Team has been hard at work preparing our campus to welcome everyone back this fall. Under the leadership of Ben Zimmer, Facilities Manager, a dedicated team of staff Art Scheuber and student workers Director of completed an impressive Administrative Services list of maintenance and improvement projects that enhance the beauty, safety, and functionality of our parish and school.
Throughout the campus, carpets were cleaned, tile floors were stripped and waxed, walls were washed, church pew fabric was cleaned, and every light fixture was cleaned with burned - out bulbs replaced. Deep cleaning was completed in all restrooms as well as the PLC and Fellowship Hall kitchens. New chemical, soap, and sanitizer dispensers were installed throughout the buildings to improve cleanliness and convenience.
Among the many accomplishments this summer was painting projects throughout the facility. Fellowship Hall is receiving a refreshing update with new ceiling tiles, fresh paint, and new carpeting, creating a brighter and more welcoming gathering space.
These projects represent a significant investment of time, talent, and care. We are grateful to Ben Zimmer and the entire facilities staff and student crew for their dedication and hard work. Their efforts help ensure that St. Anthony on the Lake remains a welcoming, safe, and beautiful place for worship, learning, and fellowship.
Our classrooms and school facilities saw significant improvements as well. Following the abatement of asbestos mastic, new carpet, paint, and tile were installed in the sixth and eighth grade classrooms. A new set of tables and chairs was added to the 5K classroom, and one Faith Formation room is being thoughtfully reconfigured into two office spaces to better serve Faith Formation.
Outside, the team pressure washed all exterior brick surfaces, edged, mulched, and weeded the playground area, and completed numerous HVAC repairs and improvements to help ensure comfort throughout the year. The parish also added a tractor to its maintenance equipment, providing greater efficiency in caring for our grounds.
As we prepare for another year of ministry, education, and community life, thank you to everyone whose work behind the scenes helps make our parish a place we are proud to call home.

New Audio System Coming Soon As part of the Love One Another Campaign, a new sound system will be installed in the church sometime between late October and early November. The system will include new microphones for the priests and deacons, new mics at the ambo and cantor stand, new mics over the choir, new speakers over the congregation, updates to the speakers in the Gathering Space, new projectors, and enhancements to cameras for streaming.

We will be needing one person per Mass to operate the new system, a total of four per weekend. Training will begin soon.
