Winter Auxiliary Programs CHECK OUT OUR EIGHT-WEEK WINTER AUXILIARY PROGRAMS, WHICH INCLUDE A WIDE ARRAY OF FUN AND EXCITING OPTIONS.

jump bunch

DAY AND TIME: Mondays, 3:00-3:30pm GRADES: Twos to Prekindergarten DATES: Jan. 8 - Feb. 26 COST: $150 Ready to have a ball with Jump Bunch’s SPORTS enrichment classes? Does your child LOVE recess? Then this enrichment session is for them! Jump Bunch is a FUN, non-competitive place for children to be introduced to a wide range of sports and games in a fun, positive manner. Jump Bunch always encourages healthy habits, improved coordination, and confidence. Each class has a different sports or fitness lesson plan with individual equipment for every participant. Some sports/activities include: football, soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, corn hole, obstacle courses and much, much more.

writer’s workshop

DAY AND TIME: Mondays, 3:15-4:15pm GRADES: Third & Fourth Grades DATES: Jan. 22 - Mar. 4 COST: $155 Join Mrs. Wells, author, and consultant with Responsive Classroom, as well as former St. Anne’s School teacher, to learn more about the journaling process and autobiographical writing. Each author will publish a personal narrative at the end of the program. Students will practice their handwriting and computer skills while learning the arc of storytelling.

yoga explorers

DAY AND TIME: Tuesdays, 3:00-3:45pm GRADES: Prekindergarten DATES: Jan. 9 - Feb. 27 COST: $150 Embark on a Journey of Mindfulness and Fun in our “Yoga Explorers” program with Latoya Neal from Hol-Body yoga. Our program is designed to introduce Prekindergarteners to the world of yoga in a fun and engaging way. Through imaginative storytelling, age-appropriate poses, and interactive activities, children will develop flexibility, balance, mindfulness, and self-regulation skills. Our program aims to create a positive and nurturing environment where children can explore their bodies, emotions, and imagination while having a great time!


pokémon club

DAY AND TIME: Wednesdays, 3:15-4:15pm GRADES: First & Second Grades DATES: Jan. 17 - Feb. 28 COST: $125 Join us for afternoons of Pokémon fun! During this club, students will have a Pokémon-themed snack, engage in Pokémon art activities, read Pokémon books, and have time to “play” Pokémon, while learning game-playing strategies. If the weather allows, we may go on a Pokémon hunt along the nature path, playing Pokémon GO.

mrs. k’s book club

DAY AND TIME: Wednesdays, 3:00-3:45pm GRADES: Twos and Preschool DATES: Jan. 17 - Feb. 28 COST: $160 Mrs. K’s Book Club is a unique opportunity for your young learners to discover and share ideas that create better communication and language skills. Each week we will read and spotlight a children’s book which will be followed by a creative activity or art project. A snack will be included as well. This experience will show them by example that reading is fun!

passport to deliciousness DAY AND TIME: Thursdays, 3:15-4:15pm GRADES: Second & Third Grades DATES: Jan. 11 - Feb. 29 COST: $220

Passport to Deliciousness, our weekly Cooking Club, will be full of worldwide recipes, fun, learning, deliciousness, and lots of goodies to share. This is an incredible opportunity to learn about different cultures and food from around the world while instilling a lifelong love of healthy food and cooking.

chess club

DAY AND TIME: Thursdays, 3:30-4:30pm GRADES: Kindergarten - Eighth Grades DATES: Feb. 1 - May 9 COST: $270 Join the 100,000 (and counting!) kids who’ve learned chess with the official academy of 5x world champion Magnus Carlsen. This in-person club includes online extras like practice tournaments, Chesskid Gold membership ($69 value), and a bonus lesson with Magnus or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player ever!


karate

DAY AND TIME: Fridays, 3:30-4:30pm AGES: Kindergarten - Eighth Grades DATES: Jan. 12 - Mar. 1 COST: $140 This popular class is a disciplined introduction to the sport by Kaizen Karate. Your child will learn the beautiful art of karate while gaining safety and defensive skills in a respectful environment. The class will also emphasize the basic karate principles of focus, patience, and self-discipline. Returning students will continue to work toward new belts while first-time students will be able to start the belt program.
