Who says pastors can’t be car guys? For Nick Manzie, faith and horsepower go hand in hand. As the Lead Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Nick spends his days preaching God’s Word, while serving his church family, and investing in his community. But outside the pulpit, there’s another passion that turns heads just as quickly as a Sunday sermon… Mustangs.

If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
Nick’s 2005 Mustang GT, appropriately named “Zygon,” is far from stock. Inspired by the Greek word used in the Book of Revelation for the balance beam connected to the scales carried by the rider of the black horse, the name reflects exactly what the car represents to him: balance. As he transformed the Mustang, Nick intentionally blended old-school muscle with modern drivability, creating a car that feels aggressive without losing refinement. The result is a clean, powerful build that regularly grabs attention wherever it goes.
But Nick’s love for Mustangs didn’t stop with one car. He also founded the Treasure Coast Mustang Club, bringing together fellow enthusiasts from across the area who share the same appreciation for American muscle, community, and craftsmanship. Even better, the passion runs in the family. His wife, Jessica, drives a Mustang too, making car culture something they genuinely enjoy together. Whether it’s cruising to local events, talking mods with fellow enthusiasts, or simply enjoying a drive down the Florida coast, the Manzie family has embraced the lifestyle wholeheartedly.
For Nick, being a pastor and being a car guy were never opposites. In fact, he believes hobbies and passions can open
doors to relationships and conversations that might never happen otherwise. Underneath the rumble of the exhaust and the shine of the paint is someone who loves people, loves ministry, and just happens to love Mustangs too.
And honestly? The itch to build another car is already starting. Because apparently, pastors can be car guys after all.

I’ve owned this 98 Bright Atlantic Blue Mustang GT Convertible with white top since 2004. I call her “Mary Jane.” It’s been a blast taking her to shows like Carlisle Ford Nationals and driving around Wildwood, NJ during their Spring and Fall car shows.

According to Marti Report, it’s a 1 of 72 built like her. I enjoyed customizing her to be a 1 of 1 standout. Always getting great comments about her from other Mustang owners and other enthusiasts.
I was lucky enough for my car to be selected as an official participant in the first ever creation of the American flag made of all Mustangs at the Carlisle Ford Nationals, June 3rd, 2016. It was a once in a lifetime event, never to be done again. I was the only blue stang with a white top, making it look a star on the flag display.

SHE’S THEMED AFTER THE HEAVY METAL BAND IRON MAIDEN...
My name is Alan D’Angelo. I’m the bassist of the heavy metal band Power Theory, and this is my girl Charlotte the Harlot. She’s a 2006 Mustang GT premium. Since I purchased her new in 2006 she’s been performance modded with a Roush TVS blower, a Roush Extreme Performance cat back exhaust, Hurst short throw shifter, Eibach lowering springs, a Momo steering wheel, and Hawk brake pads and rotors. She was tuned by Jim D’Amore of JDM Engineering in Freehold, NJ to 525 rwhp.

Visually she’s themed after the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, and her visual mods include a front splitter, rear spoiler, and rear and side window louvers from American Muscle, a ram air hood from Cervinis, and various Iron Maiden themed badging and artwork. The underhood art was painted by German artist Timo Wuerz and the heat resistant decal applied by Stacy Nassani at Bonez Garage in Circleville, NY.
My passion for Mustangs began when I was a kid and my cousin raced a ‘69 at the local track. When the S197s came out I had to have one, and my brother and I each purchased one.

WE ACQUIRED THIS SHELBY LAST YEAR...
My name is Dan McCoy and my wife is Kim McCoy. We acquired this Shelby last year after moving back to California. It is an automatic and is number 1831 out of roughly 5651 units made that year. It features a 4.6L V8 engine producing 319325 horsepower, a Ford Racing handling pack, and a distinctive Shelby hood scoop and grille. Currently has 235/50/18 up front and 295/40/18 in the rear.

I have been a Mustang owner from my first car. My first was a 1965 coupe that I owned for 4 years before it was stolen. Over the years I have owned a 1966 fastback, 1984 coupe, 1982 GT with T- tops, 1995 GT, 1966 coupe and before moving out of California in 2022, 1965 coupe with a body and paint job by Leepu. I built a 347 stroker for that one. I am a founding member of the Mustangs Owners Museum since 2017.

IT WENT THROUGH A DETAILED RESTORATION...
This one family owner 1965 Mustang GT was bought brand new by my wife’s brother. My wife of 51 years received the car as a 16 year old (pictured) and decided to keep it.
After storing the car for over 50 years, it went through a detailed restoration including a one-piece floorboard, two back quarter panels, two doors, wheel wells, frame rails, and firewall.
The interior received new carpet, upholstery, dash pad, instrument bezels, door panels, headliner, and steering wheel, and it was restored to new condition. The engine was tight and ran good with only 100K miles, so it only needed a new distributor and alternator and a paint detail.

My name is Tommy Penirelli and this is my 2009 Shelby GT500 Mustang. I named her “Venom.” Her other nickname is “Janine.”
My passions for Mustangs began when I was a kid and my brother used to take me over to the Westchester airport. We raced his 1983 Hatchback where he put a 302 motor under the hood. It was a blast racing down that dragstrip for my brother and his Mustang.

Over the years, my love for Mustangs grew because of my brother, but at the same time the looks of them, the feel of them, and more importantly, the sound of a V8 Mustang with Flowmaster exhaust made my love grow even stronger. There is nothing better.
I’ve had a 91 Foxbody, 03 GT, and an 01 Roush Stage 2, but nothing compares to my 2009 Shelby GT500. It is my dream car. Since then, I got with the Cobb County Mustangs Club in Georgia and we do a lot of car shows. I love attending and I love being a part of the Mustang community. I love my Mustang club.

IT IS FASTER THAN IT EVER WAS...
This is my 1970 Mach 1 Mustang. My Dad ordered this car from Ford in October of 1969 and picked it up in February of 1970. He ordered it with a 351C, FMX transmission, and fold down back seat I was 5 years old at that time.

My Mom drove this car as a daily driver. She would take me and the neighborhood kids to our little league game and grocery shopping. When I turned 16, they let me start to drive it. When I was 18, I took it to a 25th Anniversary parade for the Ford Mustang at Sears Point Raceway. I drove it to work, car cruises, and took it to the Wednesday night drags.
In the 90s, I put it into car shows. Within the last three years, I’ve had work done to the car where now it is faster than it ever was. The motor has been rebuilt, transmission has been upgraded with an overdrive, and the suspension has been beefed up. I just turned 60 and am having a blast again with the car that I grew up with in the family. It is awesome!

He bought me this 2023 Mustang GT Premium last year in the color Eruption Green. JADE is her name!
It is a 10 speed auto, many bells and whistles, and oh yea it’s fast with the Coyote motor. I call it a “luxury hotrod.” I just recently entered it in a car show. I was so surprised and happy when I won best in my class. I am looking forward to going to many more car shows.

ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE CAR PURCHASES OF MY LIFE...
A couple of days before Christmas, I was anxiously waiting for delivery of my brand-new 2016 Ford Shelby GT350. Like any car guy with too much excitement and time on his hands, I headed over to the Daytona Turkey Run to walk the rows of classics, muscle cars, and swap meet treasures. While wandering through the show, something stopped me in my tracks - a 1984 Ford Mustang GT350 convertible wearing factory-style GT350 graphics. I honestly didn’t even realize Ford had built a GT350 anniversary model in 1984 (only 1,213 convertibles).
Seeing that Foxbody sitting there instantly grabbed my attention. Before long, I found myself talking numbers with the owner of the 1984 GT350. During the conversation, I casually mentioned how neat it would be to own two GT350s at the same time - the 1984 anniversary car and the brand-new 2016 Shelby that was on its way to me. The owner stopped, looked at me, and flat-out said he didn’t believe I had a new 2016 GT350 coming. At that point, the negotiation suddenly got a whole lot more interesting. He threw out a challenge: if I could prove I was actually taking delivery of a new 2016 GT350, he’d knock $2,000 off the price of the 1984.

price by $2,000. Just like that, what started as a casual walk through the Turkey Run turned into one of the most memorable car purchases of my life. By Christmas, I wasn’t just the owner of one GT350, I had two generations of Shelby history sitting side by side: a rare 1984 anniversary edition and a brand-new 2016 Shelby GT350.
I couldn’t wait to prove him wrong. I pulled out my paperwork and showed him the proof that my 2016 GT350 was real and arriving within days. His expression changed immediately. True to his word, he honored the deal and dropped the

Angelica DaVinci has old Hollywood glamour. She is a car show model while also being a Traditional & Digital Artist, Videographer, and Editor of Video and Photography. She models at outdoor car shows from Spring to Autumn for a lot of charity events that advocate for the Military, Police, and Firefighters. She creates music videos of every car show she attends that are posted up on her YouTube Channel “Angelica DaVinci”. You can also follow her on Instagram. In her digital artwork, she creates full new environments for owners of their vehicles without AI. She worked with STANG Magazine prior as she created a calendar for America’s Warriors Care Package Project. All the proceeds went towards the charity to make sure the deployed military got their care packages. She keeps all her modeling classy and family oriented. Aside from her enthusiasm for Muscle car culture, she loves the older styles including Panther De Ville and Roadsters.
She was the videographer for the “The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall” For Babylon Vault Company and created a four hour long documentary in honor and remembrance of those who served many treacherous years without a welcome
home. You are not forgotten. She volunteers for Wreaths Across America when she can.
Her values align with traditional conservative roots of America and the American Dream. God. Family. Country.
