STANG Magazine March 2026 Issue

Page 1

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

THERE IS NO OTHER HOBBY I WOULD RATHER SPEND ALL MY MONEY ON!

“If you had told my younger self that I would be featured on the cover of a magazine with my dream car, I probably would have squealed with delight and then fainted. I bought Gunner in February of 2021 and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Truly a full-circle moment for me as I have wanted a Mustang since I was old enough to know what one was. The modifications on my 2018 GT have been a mix of performance and cosmetic. It features a GT500 Spoiler, GT500 Rear Valance, Variant Wheels with Nitto Tires, Roush Cold Air Intake, JLT Catch Can, Smoked Euro Tail lights, Resonator Delete, H-Pipe, Powder Coated Steeda Axle-Back Exhaust, Louvers, and Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

My whole life, I always felt out of place because I wasn’t your “typical” girl. I was a tomboy who loved cars, especially Mustangs, and my Dad was always my car show buddy. My Mom’s first car was a Mustang, so I guess I come by it honestly. My husband has a Mustang as well, and this is a hobby we enjoy together. We’ve been going to Ponies in the Smokies since 2022 and to be around 1000+ people who share the same passion as you is truly something special. There is no other hobby I would rather spend all my money on!

I would like to dedicate this cover to my Dad and share this achievement with him. His love and passion for cars inspired my own.”

IT REMAINS MY DAILY DRIVER...

My passion for cars is fully reflected in my 2018 Orange Fury Mustang GT, a machine I transformed myself by installing an ESS supercharger in my carport, proving that dedication and knowledge don’t require a fancy workshop.

Tuned to 93 octane, this Mustang generates 748 HP, a figure that not only impresses on paper but is felt every day, because despite its extreme power, it remains my daily driver.

That combination of character, reliability, and adrenaline was sealed when I reached 162.7 mph in the half-mile, an achievement that encapsulates my commitment, discipline, and genuine love for this car.

My name is Yadhiraa Hutchison and this is my 2015 Mustang Eco-boost Premium Turbocharged. A little of my history is, ever since my first race in a 1968 Camaro, with the muscle and the speed I was hooked. Searching for the right car I came across a 1965 Ford Fastback Mustang.

The American muscle became a must have, a dream, a goal! My very first Mustang was a 2014 V6 Oxford White Mustang. She was fast, loud and sat pretty. Life had a different plan and now there is a 2015 EcoBoost Premium Turbocharged Convertible, Ebony Black in my life. Being a part of a community of Mustang enthusiasts was something I wanted and I needed. I strive to have an original Mustang. Clean, sneaky fast, and sleek looking.

HE GOT TO SEE IT...

I’m Steve Tamberino, 55 from NY. I ordered this Mustang and it was built on my birthday. It is a 2015 Mustang V6, Magnetic Gray Metallic, with the 051A Package - power drivers seat, fog lamps,18” Foundry Wheels, spoiler delete, and Automatic Transmission.

Modifications include Cervinis Side Scoops, Outlaw Rear Spoiler, GT upper and lower Grills, Custom Aluminum Rear Badge “P-51D Tribute Edition”, Custom LeMans Stripes: Black/White (a homage to invasion stripes painted on real Mustangs before D-Day 6 June 1944), USAAF Roundel on fenders and custom decals on fenders with “Detroit Miss“ nose art and tallies (all in black), Custom Decklid, Powerstop Red Caliper Z26 slotted/drilled Rotors, Ceramic/Carbon Pads, Predders front and rear adjustable sway bars (red), Katzskin custom Brown Leather interior, MMD Steering wheel flat bottom, and red stitching coming soon.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. most done. I’m also a WW2 reenactor and do an impression of a USAAF P-51 Pilot circa 1944-45 with the 8th Air Force. I use the car to help teach about all those who built, flew, and fought the Mustang. Men and Women, African-Americans (Tuskegee Airmen). I’m hoping to educate as well as use her to raise awareness and money for Veterans causes.

I’m hoping to keep her until I am very old as I truly love this car. I still can’t walk more than a few feet away before looking back at her. It also was the catalyst for my wife getting into these cars as well. She puts up with my obsession but loves her almost as much as I do.

I ordered this car when my Dad was sick with cancer. He and I loved Mustangs and used to show ours off when I was in my late teens/20s (I had an 89 LX 5.0, Dad had an 85 GT) so I said if he gets better he could get a GT and I’d get a V6. My car came three days before he passed away but at least he got to see it.

I decided to turn this car into a Tribute to the WW2 fighter aircraft it was really named after. I wanted to do it as if Ford did it - like their Bullitt cars. It was slow going as she’s my daily driver but now almost 11 years later my “Detroit Miss“ is al-

My name is Wayne Taylor and this is my 2009 Mustang GT nicknamed “Mr. Crowley.”

I bought my 2025 Ford Mustang GT last August and I just love the look, performance, and what a sweet ride she is. I’ve always been a fan of the Mustang’s sleek design and powerful engine. This is my first Ford Mustang and I would not want anything more. I love my new car.

I’m so excited to show it off and take it on long drives. The feeling of the wind on her and the rumble of the engine is exhilarating!

THIS ONE CHECKED OFF ALL THE BOXES...

I purchased this Beauty March 2025, from an online ad, from a Winnipeg Dealership. That’s 2150 km from where we live. Wow, I really didn’t think this was possible.

It had 6000 km on it and I fell in love with the color! I was browsing online and saw a few for sale but none with a different color. I’ve had two Yellow Mustangs, so I needed something that kinda pops! This one checked off all the boxeshandling package, 10 Speed Auto, comfort seats, everything!

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. International Speedway! This Spring she will get new boots and resonator delete and a few more km put on her!

They took my 17 GT Premium in on trade, after a few emails, pics, and car faxes, we negotiated a decent price. The 17 got picked up and I waited for the Mach 1 to arrive.

Since having the car I’ve purchased my first personal plate. It is what the car made me think of when I first saw it. I installed hood shocks, oil seperator, and the wheels I loved from the 17. I had a vinyl sticker installed on them to take away some Black and help them pop.

I‘m having a blast with this car and drove to Florida last fall for Mustangs at Daytona. I got to drive her on the Daytona

I HAVE A STRONG AFFECTION FOR MY CURRENT MUSTANG...

As a dedicated fan of the Ford Mustang with a long history, I have been afforded the opportunity to drive various models throughout my life.

My 2020 Mustang GT Premium Convertible, Ruby, has distinguished itself, earning recognition at multiple local car shows and I am highly satisfied with the 5.0 Coyote engine’s performance this year.

I have a strong affection for my current Mustang and all others that have preceded it.

THE JOY FOR THESE CARS IS UNMATCHED...

This is my Roxy! She’s a 2023 Mach 1 that I purchased in August 2024. Before this, I owned a black 2013 and that’s where I first found my passion. I drove the black one from Feb 2018 until the day I traded in on my Mach 1. The joy for these cars is unmatched.

Between the car meets, or just the drives alone, I’ve had some of the best experiences and met some of the coolest people that I can call my friends. I fall in love with this car over and over again, every time my foot hits the gas. After this car, I couldn’t see myself and hopefully couldn’t see my future kids driving anything but a Mustang. 1,000% hands down the best and most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned.
