STANG Magazine February 2026 Issue

FEBRUARY 2026

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

BLENDING CLASSIC HERITAGE WITH MODERN MUSCLE...

My passion for Ford Mustangs runs deeper than just owning a car, it’s about the legacy, power, and attitude that the Mustang represents. From the unmistakable growl of the engine to the aggressive stance and timeless design, Mustangs have always symbolized freedom and performance to me. Every drive feels like a connection to decades of American muscle, where raw power meets craftsmanship. It’s more than transportation; it’s an experience that fuels my excitement and reflects my love for speed, style, and individuality.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

That passion is especially strong when it comes to my 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1. The Mach 1 stands out as something truly special, blending classic heritage with modern muscle. The iconic shaker hood, the bold presence, and the powerful V8 make every moment behind the wheel unforgettable. My 2004 Mach 1 isn’t just my favorite Mustang, it’s a personal statement and a source of pride. It represents everything I love about performance cars and the thrill of driving something that feels alive every time the engine roars.

HER JOURNEY IS NOT OVER...

My name is Melody Chase and I’ve been a member of the Victory 7 Mustang Club for almost 20 years. Though I have been in love with Mustangs since I was a teenager, I had the opportunity to buy my first Mustang, Ella, in 2007.

My life changed profoundly after acquiring her. I gained a second family, the Mustang club, met my husband who was a member of the club, and also brought my brother over from the tuner world into the Mustang world. Being a female owner and enthusiast has given me a platform and allowed me to be a role model for young girls and other women to realize that Mustangs are not just a male hobby, but for all who love the nostalgia and history of these beautiful American masterpieces.

Ella has transformed greatly in the 19 years I have owned her, but she is still a work in progress and her journey is not over. Stay tuned for future upgrades!

THIS CAR IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE...

I grew owning and enjoying Aussie and American muscle cars, especially American muscle cars. It wasn’t until I was 55 years old that I purchased my first 2019 Mustang GT with the Magnaride and Performance Pack. This car is by far my favorite as it has all the modern day comforts with a loud muscle growl.

THIS BABY LOOKS AND RUNS BETTER THAN NEW...

Hi my name is Jim Harris and I purchased my 2004 Mach 1 a couple months ago. In November 2024, I was scammed out of $24,000 and I’m retired. It took over a year saving to buy, hopefully, my last muscle car. My first Mach 1 was purchased in high school. Since then I’ve owned two 72 Mach 1s.

My 04 currently has 21,000 miles. It has a 3” stainless steel

Magnaflow exhaust, rear seat delete, front strut braces, rear shock brace, subframe connectors, Cobra front bumper, Cobra coolant reservoir, shock tower covers, master cylinder cover, and battery cover. This baby looks and runs better than new. It also has a Brenspeed tune, led lights, C2Customs side splitter, and a MGM short throw shifter.

SHE SHOWS UP, SHOWS OUT, AND SHOWS OFF...

My name is Greg Johnson and this is my 2012 Mustang GT. The nickname for my Mustang is Nellie Bell. The name comes from my dad, who named all his cars Nellie Bell. He is the one who inspired my passion for cars. I took to cars with encouragement and guidance from my Dad. He would make sure the car was always clean and maintained. He would say it’s important that you keep your engine compartment clean. That’s so if you have a leak, you will know where it’s coming from and you won’t get your clothes dirty.

He had a 66, 67, 68, and 69 Mustang. I wanted a Boss Mustang with the 351 Cleveland in it. Horse power and big block! I’ve had a few Mustangs myself, but my 2012 tops them all. I built this the way I wanted it. It is low profile, yet stylish, has a great sound, it is a daily driver, and it comes with plenty of punch when called upon. I wanted to be different from everybody else. Everything you see on the car, I put it on there. I didn’t have to spend a lot of money, I just used a little imagination.

I could talk for hours about Mustangs. I could buy a new one, if I wanted it, but I am satisfied with the one I have. She shows

up, shows out, and shows off. That’s my Nellie Bell. They are great cars, cheap, and just all out fun.

UNIQUE BLEND OF PERFORMANCE...

My name is Antonio Lopez and I’m based out of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This is my 2022 S550 Mustang GT Premium Fastback in Atlas Blue.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. My Mustang carries a cohesive Anubis (Egyptian god) theme throughout. This can be seen on the custom steering wheel airbag cover, 6-speed shifter knob, rear decklid emblem, and interior trunk design. The car sits on a staggered set of Niche bronze wheels, chosen to complement the richness of ancient Egyptian aesthetics and gold accents.

Current modifications include Corsa closed-box cold air intake, Corsa Extreme double X-pipe exhaust, Mishimoto coolant reservoir tank, S650-style headlights, Bronze “5.0” fender emblems, RECARO racing seats, S650-style Euro RGB tail lights, Smoked side markers, and Smoked RGB reflector light replacements. I believe this build represents a unique blend of performance, craftsmanship, and storytelling.

With just under 19,000 miles, I regularly participate in car shows, cruises, and photo shoots alongside friends and fellow members of the High Desert Mustang Club.

I also serve as the Treasurer of the High Desert Mustang Club of New Mexico, a newly recognized Mustang Club of Ameri-

ca (MCA) car club. Club website: http://www.highdesertmustangclub.com

SLOW PROGRESS IS BETTER THAN NO PROGRESS!

My name is Oliver Prosise and this is my 1965 Fastback. I am the second owner. I’ve owned it for over 20 years, but life happens! I finally have the time to bring it back to an enjoyable state.

Many custom mods were done by myself through reading and having mechanical abilities. I encourage anyone that encounters the road blocks of waiting on others to do work for them to believe in yourselves and do your best! You might be surprised what you are capable of. It is still not completed however, but slow progress is better than no progress! Blessings.

THEY HAVE A SOFT SPOT IN MY HEART...

My name is Eric Martinez out of New Mexico and this is (B00STD46) a 1998 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L engine that has the PI swap, Vortech supercharger, Ford Performance injectors, Accufab throttle body and plenum, dyno tuned by Dyno’s Edge in Albuquerque NM, built 5 speed manual transmission, short throw shifter, 3:73 gears, welded sub frame connectors, 4 link rear suspension, lowering springs front and back, castor camber plates, 17x9 front wheels and 17x10.5 rears, and Flowmaster full exhaust with H Pipe.

This has been a dream car of mine since I was a child. I’ve always loved the 94-98 Mustangs. They have a soft spot in my heart. I was finally able to buy one and build it with my family. My wife and my kids enjoy every minute of the car that we spend together. I’m also a member of the High Desert Mustang Club of New Mexico, attending several cars shows a year.

I was raised in a Ford family. I quickly realized the Mustang was what I wanted. The sound, feel, and smell had me hooked! My first car was a 1989 5.0 Foxbody. I was the only girl in school that wasn’t driving a Honda or a Toyota. You are either a car girl or you are not, and I definitely was.

This RTR is my 7th Mustang. It’s definitely a beast. I enjoy drag racing and doing car shows. The goal is to one day own a Shelby.

THIS IS A VERY FUN CAR TO DRIVE...

If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. My name is Roberto Quiñones and this is my 2015 Triple Yellow Mustang GT. This car’s nickname is “Pika” after a little boy saw it and started calling it Pikachu from Pokemon. It started its life as a Premium Package car with Recaro seats and a Borla axle back from the factory. It has evolved since then, in every aspect, and today is a very good looking car.

I started the mods list with a GT500 style front bumper, GT500 rear wing with a gurny flap, and AR 20 inch wheels 20x9 and 20x 11 in the back. In the performance department, it has longtube headers, MBPR H pipe and the Borla SS axle back, 2022 Gen 3 intake manifold, Steeda cold intake, JLT catch can and a 2Fast Performance indigena tune (one on 93 and one in E 85). The car runs the quarter mile a best of 11.88 @93 and 11.38 @E85 and is my daily driver too. This is a very fun car to drive and everybody likes the way the car looks.

I am the President of Mustang Group PR, a Facebook based Mustang group in Puerto Rico and I have a YouTube channel named (Tio yuca hablemos de Mustangs) were I help people with their Mustangs and show all that Ford has to offer.
