Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM, POWER, AND PERSONALITY...
My passion for Mustangs started when I was younger, long before I ever sat behind the wheel of one. Playing racing games like Need for Speed introduced me to the raw speed, aggressive styling, and unmistakable sound that made the Mustang stand out from everything else. Those games planted the idea that the Mustang wasn’t just a car - it was a symbol of freedom, power, and personality.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
I didn’t see many Mustangs here in Australia until 2016 when Ford started to import them and that’s when my passion grew even stronger and more so when I was able to purchase my 2017 Mustang GT in Shadow Black along with giving it the fitting name of GRIMGT.
Seeing Mustangs in movies such as Transformers, Need for Speed, and John Wick 2 reinforced that connection, as they were always portrayed as bold, powerful, and unforgettable. Every appearance on screen made owning one feel like a goal rather than just a dream.

CAPTURES THE UNTAMED SPIRIT OF ITS NAMESAKE...
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
“Tornado,” my 2015 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, is a meticulously customized beast that captures the untamed spirit of its namesake - the legendary black stallion ridden by Zorro. Just as Zorro’s steed was known for his speed and mystery, this Mustang embodies that same powerful presence through a striking aesthetic and 435-horsepower V8 performance.
The exterior features a sleek tonneau cover and a carbon fiber GT500 style rear spoiler that provides a menacing, aerodynamic silhouette, while a “freedom pony” decal serves as a bold nod to its classic American muscle heritage. Perhaps the most unique part of the journey is sharing it with my dog, Dulce, who “drives” her own remote-controlled replica named Rocinante. Named after Don Quixote’s famous horse, Dulce’s Rocinante completes our team, turning every outing into a legendary adventure of a knight-errant and her powerful companion.
The heart of the storm lies beneath the hood, where the 5.0L Coyote engine is showcased as a personalized work of art with custom hydro-dipped red carbon fiber accents. This vibrant, high-tech contrast mirrors the intensity of the machine, while a high-flow cold air intake sharpens throttle response and deepens the engine’s growl to ensure Tornado sounds as formidable as he looks. From the Zorro-inspired moniker and the miniature sidekick Rocinante to the track-ready carbon details, Tornado is a one-of-a-kind tribute to speed, literary history, and the pursuit of freedom on the open road.

My name is Flora Bugg and I have a 2015 Mustang GT (50th Year Edition). I call her Island Girl. My passion is entering Island Girl in car shows around the counties here in Kentucky.
The Mustang is one of my dream cars since I was a teenager. I enjoy going to car shows and love the atmosphere. I enjoy meeting and hanging out with friends and meeting new people. When I’m not at shows, I work on adding new accessories to my car just to give more appeal to it. Oh and the best part of it, it is a manual. Need I say more!

THIS IS A FUN AND RARE CAR TO SEE AROUND...
This is my 1978 Mustang II. I got this little car after seeing it for sale on my way to my dog show in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia Canada. It caught my eye because back in the day when I was younger, my neighbor had a new one and drove a few kids on the block to school in it. I always thought that car was something!
I put in my offer and he accepted. That was back in 2019. Since then I have restored the paint back with elbow grease and love. The car is all original except for the hood. Inside and all. She sees some car shows here in Nova Scotia Canada and out for special drives. Although not a popular year, this is a fun and rare car to see around.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAR!
My name is Jack Coffman and I’m located in Hilham, Tennessee. I’ve been a car enthusiast all my life, and just got my first Mustang three years ago. My dad worked for and retired from Ford Motor Company back in 2002. He worked at Dearborn Assembly, home of the Mustang up until 2004. I got to tour the plant and watch new Mustangs being built several times as a kid. I finally became a Mustang owner back in May of 2023 after my previous “fun car”, a 2015 Dodge Dart GT, was totaled in an accident. I used the insurance money from that car, just under $22,000.00, to buy and start building my dream Mustang. I found a beautiful completely stock, one owner, low mileage (76k) 2005 GT premium convertible 5 speed manual in Torch Red with medium parchment interior and top and I got it for $12,500.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. This is Ember, my 2005 Mustang GT premium convertible. She has full bolt ons and is professionally Dyno tuned on 93 octane. She makes 410 hp and 425 lb.-ft. of torque at the crank. She is a 5 speed manual and has several cosmetic mods including 20” x 9” Axis Sport AX3-5 +35mm offset bronze wheels, side scoops, mirror caps, and Shelby GT500 style front splitter and rear diffuser. I absolutely love this car!

IT IS KIND OF A FAMILY RIVAL CAR...
My name is Chris and this is my 2006 Mustang GT. Her name is Selene. I’ve always wanted a Mustang since I was a kid. I got one at 16, it was a 04 V6, got another one at 18, and 07 GT but unfortunately couldn’t keep them and it took me 13 years to get this one.
I found Selene in poor condition so I could build her how I want. So far I have added 2013 interior seats, dash and console, and also added a 2015 steering wheel. It is kind of a family rival car as my dad is a Corvette person.

I battled Stage 4 brain cancer and kicked its ass so I purchased Miss Ruby! She has definitely been the best car! She had 12 miles when I purchased her but with many trips to the Tail of the Dragon, she now has 279,000.
I love my car and I love the bond I have with her! She is not replaceable. She is family!

THIS IS THE RESULT OF MY VISION...
This is a story of seller’s remorse. I bought this 03 Mustang Convertible GT with 17,000 miles on it from the original owner. I wanted a Mach 1 but also wanted a Convertible as well. So I bought this Zinc Yellow Mustang GT and decided to make a Convertible Mach 1 for myself. This is the result of my vision. I did this in 2011.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I got Lightning fever and traded my Mocmach for a 99 Black Lightning. Fast forward to 2024 and I got yellow fever. I had to have Mocmach back. Turns out the person that I sold it to was willing to let me get it back. They stated, “I knew you would be back for this, it was your baby and vision.”
Mocmach is a 2003 Mustang GT Convertible, with full Mach 1 conversion, 4.6L 2V, 5 speed, 3:73 gears, 100 shot of Nitrous, and I am now in the process of building a new aluminum block 4.6L engine that will be very healthy!

THE CAR IS WRAPPED SILVER CREAMSICKLE...
This Silver Creamsickle SN95 is named Sharky. It has a PI 4.6 with long tube headers, comp cams, hot coil packs, and 5 speed trans with a 100 shot of Nos.
The car is wrapped Silver Creamesickle and sits on a staggered set of 18” Saleens. It is one of several Mustangs that I own.
