Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. SHE IS DEFINITELY A SHOW STOPPER...
My name is Randy Singh and this is my 2017 Ford Mustang, ALEXIA. I must say this build has been a journey and a half… but after a few color changes and wheels and lots of extras, I think I have the car dialed in how I want to.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
When I bought this car new in 2017, I had hopes of keeping the car stock, but that didn’t last long. It went from lowering springs to Air Ride, few sets of wheels, new seats, motor work, trunk build, and much more. She is definitely a show stopper and the color is Brushed Aluminum Fuchsia.
The best part I enjoy the most is seeing people at shows give me a thumbs up for the color or hearing how much they love the look compared to a “typical Mustang build”. But at the end of the day, it’s all about your vision and uniqueness that makes a build yours. Shout out to everyone who’s helped with the crazy vision, especially JWP Automotive and Low Life Reaperz. One thing I learned is when you are thinking you’re done, it’s only the beginning.

I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 11 YEARS...
My name is Joey Dip and this is my 1995 Ford Mustang Saleen clone nicknamed “Snow_White.”
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. It is modified with a 408 stroker, G Force 5 speed transmission, 31 spline rear end, 3.73 gears, coil overs, tubular K member, front and rear tubular control arms, long tube headers, full 3 inch exhaust, and Pypes violater mufflers.
I have owned this car for 11 years. It was freshly painted and has a built motor and transmission, rear end, and upgraded the interior with a rear seat delete, Foxbody Recaros, all new carpet, and topped it off with some Glow Shift gauges.

I PURCHASED TWO OF MY DREAM CARS...
My name is Lee Gossett and I am 59 years old. I have been a Ford fan since childhood. I have owned four Mustangs throughout my life. My first car at sixteen was a 68 Coupe with a straight six. I also owned a 99 GT.
I purchased two of my dream cars in my late 40s. I purchased the 2012 Shelby GT500, with glass roof, new as a daily driver for a number of years. The “Batmobile” has 68k original miles and is mostly stock.
The fully restored 1969 R code Mustang, with 4 speed, was purchased in 2013. It was my high school dream car. I enjoy the back country roads of KY on occasion. This one is simply named “The Mach 1”.

RACED CARS FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS...
A little bit about my cars... My first car was a 69 Boss 302 (1980). I found a 302 TUNNEL PORT and installed it in the real G code Boss. I sold it for my first race car (1986) and raced cars for almost 20 years.
CHUCK DEKETT
After I sold my last race car (2005), I restored the car you see in the photo back to a Boss clone with a 302 TUNNEL PORT.
The other car is a 2021 Shelby GT500 that I bought from the original owner with only 12 miles on it. I enjoy both cars. The Boss clone is kind of a Resto mod and I think it’s the best looking car Ford has ever built. The Shelby is good looking also, but the performance is incredible. I also have an 87 Saleen not seen in the photos.

I STILL HAVE IT 30 YEARS LATER...

I live in New Zealand. I got the bug at around 13 years old, about 60 years ago. I grew up in a small town with a major race track and whenever there was a race meeting, my friends and I would ride our bikes to the track and spend the days in the pits being a nuisance getting up close and personal with all the great cars. The Ford crews were always the most friendly and would talk freely when the pressure allowed so we gravitated toward the Ford cars. My favorites were a 65 Trans Am Shelby factory Mustang and a customized 56 2 door customline with a 427 c.i. FE motor.
In my early 20s, I bought a badly damaged 67 Coupe and with help from friends, I rebuilt it. Then followed a 69 Mach and another 67 Coupe that I bought in L.A. and drove about seven thousand miles across the states before shipping it home to NZ.
The 67 Fastback was always my favorite body style so when I found an ex racer in real bad shape (cheap) in 1997, I bought it and spent seven years rebuilding it including a forced right hand drive conversion as the regs at the time wouldn’t let me register it in its original left hand drive. I still have it 30 years later.

SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY THE ROAD AHEAD...
After 28 years of active duty service in the Navy, years defined by seven deployments around the globe, combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the rare honor of serving with the Navy and Marine Corps demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, my wife and I chose to mark the start of a new chapter in our lives with something meaningful: our 2012 Ford Shelby GT500.
Purchased in April 2025 as a 30th anniversary gift to each other, the Shelby was never just about horsepower or performance. It represents everything we endured and overcame together - the long separations, the relentless tempo of military life, and the quiet strength that carried us through it all. The car became a symbol of resilience and partnership, and a celebration of the freedom to finally slow down and enjoy the road ahead.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. to take to car meets and shows, and to use as a way to meet new friends and build new memories together. Our GT500 isn’t just a machine; it’s a reflection of where we’ve been and the exciting journey still ahead.
Our interest in Mustangs runs deep, rooted in a respect for American muscle cars and the heritage they represent. The Mustang name carries an iconic legacy, and owning one feels like becoming part of a storied tradition of performance, design, and car culture. That appreciation grew even stronger after watching Ford v. Ferrari, which captured the passion, engineering brilliance, and competitive spirit behind the Shelby name. Inspired by the history and craftsmanship of Carroll Shelby, we envisioned the Shelby not just as a car, but as a shared experience - something to enjoy on weekend drives,

THESE VEHICLES HAVE BEEN IN OUR FAMILY FOR 40 YEARS...
This is my 1969 Mustang Mach 1. This car was owned by my brother since he was 13 years old. Tragically, he passed away five years ago at the age of 47 in an accident on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. After he was missing for 101 days, he was finally located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. Following his passing, his wife, Megan, gave the car to me. I have since completed a no-expense-spared, frame-off restoration. The metal work was completed by John Littleton of Delmar, DE and the body and paint work were handled by Larry Tawes of Salisbury, MD. I personally completed the drivetrain, wiring, and interior. I deleted the shock towers and now it has rack and pinion steering and all wheel disc brakes powered by a 400 Ford.
In addition to this Mach 1, I also own a 1969 Fastback. Both of these vehicles have been in our family for 40 years.

I’ve always been a lover of classic muscle cars and my love for Mustangs started in 2000 when I purchased an ‘87 5.0. I still have her and after years of owning and running my own car club, and thousands of car shows, she’s retired as a special occasion kinda girl. Olivia is now my passion and one of my favorite things is watching peoples’ eyes light up when she changes up to eight different colors.
Olivia is a 2008 Mustang GT Mark III custom. She’s one of a kind. I purchased her in 2010 with only 5k miles and other than the custom cosmetic work, she was a stock GT. She now has 32k miles and the performance upgrades she has now are cold air intake, Magnaflow exhaust, and a strut bar.

IT GAVE ME AN EXHILARATING FEELING...
I bought my 2013 Roush Stage 2 Mustang in Gotta Have it Green nearly two years ago. My wife nicknamed it Marvin the Martian for obvious reasons. I had never owned any type of muscle car previous to this but always wanted to.
I test drove Corvettes, Camaros, and a few others before I found this car. Right from the first test drive it gave me an exhilarating feeling no other car could match. That’s when I knew I was a Mustang lover for life.

Jessica and Tyler Hassing have turned their passion for Ford Mustangs into a relentless pursuit of speed, precision, and excellence. Their world record Mustang represents more than just horsepower and engineering - it’s the result of countless hours of dedication, innovation, and a shared vision to push beyond limits. Built with purpose and driven with confidence, their Mustang stands as a symbol of what happens when determination meets performance, earning its place among the fastest and most respected builds in the standing half-mile community.
Their Mustang holds multiple world records. In its prior configuration and driven by Tyler, it earned the world’s fastest stock Gen 1 Coyote in the 1/4 mile record in 2022 with an 8.26 @ 164 mph. Once that accomplishment occurred, the car transitioned to a competitive half-mile race car for Jessica to chase goals. Originally only hoping to join the 200 mph club, the bug was caught when this was accomplished in 5 passes at the first half-mile event they took it too and they knew it could do more. Sights were set on a world record, and joining the 230 mph club. This took a bit more time, big changes to the car, and was achieved in Aug of 2025. In addition to the 1/4 mile world record, it now holds the world record for the fastest Ford Mustang in the standing half-mile, as well as the world’s fastest female driven 2 wheel drive vehicle in the standing half-mile.

the runway reflects their commitment to the brand, the craft, and each other, always leaving room for the question: how much faster can it go? Their journey continues to inspire fellow enthusiasts and racers, proving that passion, persistence, and the spirit of Ford performance can turn a dream into a record and a record into the drive for what comes next.
This is just the beginning as they set sights on 250 mph and working towards more world records in a new Mustang that is currently under construction.
For the Hassings, the love for Ford Mustangs runs deeper than competition - it’s a lifestyle rooted in family, teamwork, and the thrill of chasing the next milestone. Every run down
