The Prep For boys in Grades K-6 The Prep offers a compelling learning experience for boys in an environment that integrates movement and hands-on activity into everyday lessons. We have designed our program for the way that boys learn. We teach students to identify and acknowledge their unique talents and strengths and focus their energy at the task on hand. This dynamic approach promotes mindfulness and results in joyful and engaged learners.

The Preschool For children ages 2-5 Queen Emma Preschool provides our youngest students with an education through discovery and inquiry. We nurture boys and girls to develop a love of learning through the delight of play, fostering each child’s innate curiosity and unique sense of wonder. In a colorful and welcoming school environment, teachers use developmentally appropriate activities that emphasize the individuality of each learner, allowing the emerging self to grow, thrive and prepare to enter kindergarten.

Queen Emma, Our Visionary Founder Queen Emma Kaleleonālani dedicated herself to serving the health, educational and spiritual needs of her people. She and her husband, Kamehameha IV, were instrumental in bringing the Anglican Church to the islands, and she became known and loved for her humanitarian efforts. A transformational thinker and leader, Queen Emma sailed to England to solicit funds for an Anglican cathedral and a school for girls in Hawai‘i. During her trip, she succeeded in securing support for both projects, leading to the founding of St. Andrew’s Priory School. St. Andrew’s Schools have expanded Queen Emma’s vision by acquiring a co-ed preschool and opening a school for boys. Today, the school embraces Queen Emma’s tradition of community and spiritual generosity with each new generation of children.
