SUMMER TRAINING & FITNESS PROGRAM 2025
SUMMER TRAINING THIS PROGRAM WILL FOCUS ON: • personalized training goals tailored to each athlete • developing muscle hypertrophy, strength, mobility, speed, agility, and cardiovascular fitness • exercise selection that is age and ability appropriate • assistance with recovery and return to play from previous and current injuries
PROGRAM COMPONENTS INITIAL ASSESSMENT • Movement screen and performance assessment to assist with program development • Nutritional education and recommendations that coincide with athletic goals
SMALL GROUP TRAINING • Training phases geared toward athletes’ goals and physical maturity • Day-to-day athlete monitoring to assess recovery and readiness to train • All workouts, performance testing, and daily athlete monitoring will be recorded using a Cloud-based athlete management software
PROGRAM, DATES, FEE FOUR-WEEK SESSION Dates: June 16-July 10 Times: 3:30-4:30 p.m. for Grades 8-10 4:45-6 p.m. for Grades 11-12 Fee: $330 + HST • There will be no session on Monday, June 30 • The session is limited to 15 students
ELIGIBILITY • SAC students currently in Grades 8 to 12
