2026 KIDS SUMMER CATALOG

CATHOLIC COMMUNITY SERVICES

Case Management registration is accepted only on the following: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9-11 a.m. except 1st and 3rd Thursday registration is 4 p.m.-6 p.m., and 1st and 3rd Saturday 10 a.m.12 p.m. Please consult the current calendar.

Picture ID (international passport accepted) for all adults in the household 18 years of age or older.

For children under 18: Bring birth certificates, school enrollment record or immunization records. **Social Security cards are not accepted as a form of ID.** Must have child’s name and birthdate printed on it.

Proof of address: current rental agreement w/one piece of mail or utility bill under primary account holders name (If they are under someone else’s name, we will need that person’s ID to be shown and they will be added to the account). Government letter (Social Security Award letter, SNAP benefit letter, subsidized housing letter etc.).

Only one person per address can apply for food, all people at the address must be included on the card. Apartment numbers listed must have a separate entrance from the main house, separate cooking facilities and receive mail with an identified apartment number.

Tuesday-Friday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Fridays are reserved for Seniors 60+ or those with disabilities.)

Food cards must be renewed every year at the front desk during food card hours. Changes in household income or composition must be reported within 10 days after the change becomes known to the family.

Fun hands-on clay projects where they can create and personalize their pieces, learn basic hand-building techniques and the application of underglazes and glazes. Projects include: square jars, bobbleheads, wind chimes and decorative 2d-like vases. Finished pieces will be ready to pick up two weeks after class ends to allow for careful drying and firing.

JEWELRY SUMMER CAMP

This semesterlong camp/class will inspire and motivate your student(s) to be creative in new ways as they explore art through a variety of media. Students will learn how to use new tools and create projects that are unique, fun and engaging.

In class we focus on the process of learning a new skill and encouraging students to discover their own unique way to create. Our class motto is “You Are the Artist.” We use this phrase to remind students that they make the creative decisions.

This summer some of our classes will include Paint Wooden Houses, Print Making a Bandanna and more! The semester will end with an Art Show where your students are the featured artist!

Daily theater and art programs at Treehouse Museum! The Treehouse Art Garden is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a new project daily! And at 3 p.m. each afternoon, families can join in participatory theater and story times in the Treehouse Theater. And listen for activities in the museum galleries and exhibits and on our plaza in the Treehouse Play Patio, as announced all summer long.

Young authors will learn the fundamentals of fiction writing, from idea generation to drafting, revision, editing and publication. Keir will mentor students as they write short stories or first chapters to be included in the anthology “Tales from the Treehouse.” This week-long workshop culminates with a celebratory student reading on Friday, July 17, at noon in the Treehouse Theater.

Followed by a special screening of the week’s movies for filmmaker families and friends at the end of the workshop (TBD).

PRESCHOOL PUPPET PLAY WORKSHOP

Give Me A Chance Inc., a Daughters of Charity Ministry in Ogden offers FREE Summer Camp program for children grades K-8 from June 1 to July 30. We serve breakfast and snacks each day. Our hours are Monday to Thursday 9 -11:45 a.m. Schedule includes reading, academics, enrichment activity, indoor/outdoor play. Ogden Nature Center and Ogden Police Department will do a presentation for the children and volunteers.
