Here are our top tips for how to prepare your home for the market:

First impressions

The outside of your property is the first thing to be seen, so try to make sure that the windows are clean, your driveway is empty, and the garden is tidy.

Key rooms

Your kitchen and bathroom will often help to sell your property more than any other room. Tidy away pots and pans, and make sure all surfaces are clean and clear.

Remove furniture

Light, uncluttered rooms appear larger, which in turn makes it easier for buyers to imagine themselves living there. Too much furniture and dark paint schemes can give the impression that rooms are smaller than they are.

Make it homely

Open the windows, brew some fresh coffee, and put out some fragrant flowers.
