Ensuring St. Martin’s shines its brightest The St. Martin’s Fund (SMF) is an annual giving campaign that raises critical philanthropic dollars to support the daily operations of the school. The St. Martin’s Fund is the highest giving priority and a tax deductible way to support our students. Your gift to the SMF makes up the difference between tuition revenue and the actual cost of running our school in alignment with our mission, vision and values. Tuition, while expensive, never covers the full cost of educating a child at an independent school. As a result, all independent schools raise philanthropic dollars to help cover the remaining costs. That is why the SMF is so vital to our community, year in and year out. The investment you make allows our students to explore boundless possibilities and reach their fullest potential.

Strong SMF support enables SMES to better position itself within foundations and other benefactors which provide matching gifts, further leveraging your contribution dollars. Parent participation is tracked and helps provide a barometer of community support to external funding sources, so the higher the participation of our parents, the more likely SMES will receive critical funding from foundations.

Every Gift Matters • What is a pledge and when should I make it? A pledge is a commitment to make a gift. By letting us know in the fall that we can count on your support this year, we can budget accordingly and ensure that all of our programs and activities are fully funded. Pledges can be paid any time before the end of our fiscal year on June 30, 2022. • We also offer flexible payment options to allow you to structure your giving however it works best for your family. • Stocks and Securities are gratefully accepted. • Did you know? Corporate matching gifts can double or even triple your contribution to The St. Martin’s Fund.
