...we embrace today. The St. Martin’s Fund (SMF) is an annual giving campaign that raises critical philanthropic dollars to support the daily operations of the school. The SMF is our highest giving priority and the most significant way in which the school covers costs that tuition cannot. A strong annual fund is vital to provide the excellent education our families expect and receive. We activate annual gifts immediately, allowing SMES to improve students’ educational experiences and allow us to invest in improvements so we can remain agile and respond to unforeseen needs in the face of extraordinary disruptions.
We humbly ask every family to support the SMF at the level appropriate for you and your family. We aim for 100% parent participation! Donations are 100% tax deductible.

wholeheartedly for many great returns Many Hearts Make Us Whole Dollars raised help ensure our teachers have what they need to teach in class or remotely, enables the school to remain agile to repond to unforeseen needs, and helps strengthen our tuition assistance for families with unexpected financial challenges as a result of the current pandemic.
Need for Giving The SMF fills the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a St. Martin’s education in a tax deductible way. Tuition, while expensive, never covers the full cost of educating a child at an independent school. As a result, all independent schools raise philanthropic dollars to help cover the remaining costs.
Across Campus and Beyond A strong and vibrant annual fund matters deeply to foundations and other outside donors who invest in St. Martin’s. The level of parent participation provides a barometer of community support to external funding sources, so the higher the participation of our parents, the more likely SMES will receive critical funding from foundations.

Every Gift Matters • What is a pledge and when should I make it? A pledge is a commitment to make a gift. By letting us know in the fall that we can count on your support this year, we can budget accordingly and ensure that all of our programs and activities are fully funded. Pledges can be paid any time before the end of our fiscal year on June 30, 2021. • We also offer flexible payment options to allow you to structure your giving however it works best for your family. • Stocks and Securities are gratefully accepted. • Did you know? Corporate matching gifts can double or even triple your contribution to The St. Martin’s Fund.
