From drama and music to service, faith, scouts, and leadership, there is something for everyone! Whether your student loves performing, singing, serving others, playing sports, creating, or simply trying something new, our afterschool clubs offer a place to explore interests, build confidence, make friends, and grow. JR. DRAMA CLUB
DRAMA CLUB
Jr. Drama Club introduces students to theatre through improvisation games, short plays, group oral interpretations of literature, and activities that strengthen mental, vocal, and physical performance skills.
Drama Club gives students opportunities to participate as performers, designers, and technicians in lighting, sound, sets, props, costumes, stage management, and marketing. Students may participate in the Georgia Jr. One-Act Competition, Veterans Day Assembly, Georgia Junior Thespian Conference, and Spring Musical. Drama Club meets once a month before school, allowing students to participate in other SMES clubs as well.

Faith Warriors meets one Thursday morning each month and welcomes all Lower School students. Drop Off: Drop off students at 7:40 a.m. at Warrior Hall, and go straight to Ms. Johnson’s office. Students will go to their homerooms at 8 a.m.
KINDNESS CLUB
SMES Staff: Father Duke and Mrs. Poole Grades: Kindergarten-5th grade When: Thursday 2:50–3:35 p.m. Where: Mrs. Poole’s Classroom (Rm. 209) & Library Meeting Dates: October 15 • November 12 • December 3 January 14 • February 18 • April 15 • May 13 (No March meeting) Join the LS Kindness Club, a 25-member service group led by Father Duke and Mrs. Poole! Each meeting includes a quick, inspiring lesson followed by a hands-on service project. Students may participate in school cleanups, organize P.E. gear, pack blessing bags, write letters to veterans, and take part in other meaningful service opportunities. Come spread kindness throughout our school and community! Dismissal: Mrs. Poole will pick up all students and bring them to the library. SMES Staff: Amiya Crockrom Grades: 1st–4th grade When: 2:50–3:45 p.m. Where: MS Band Room – 120 Meeting Dates: September 21, 28 • October 5, 19, 26 November 2, 9, 16, 30 • December 7, 14 January TBD • February 8, 22 • March 8, 22 • April 5, 19 • May TBD (End-of-Year Party) Chorus is a fun and welcoming introduction to singing, music, and performing! Students will explore their voices, learn engaging songs, build confidence, and develop teamwork and listening skills. Through weekly rehearsals, students will learn how to sing together, practice performance skills, and prepare music they may have the opportunity to share with others. No prior
singing experience is required—just bring your voice and enthusiasm! Dismissal: Students will be picked up at their homeroom and taken to the MS Band Room. Pick Up: Warrior Hall carpool at 3:45 pm or go to Explorers (must be enrolled).

Throughout the year, troop members work together to earn badges that build confidence, creativity, leadership, and new skills while giving back to the community through meaningful service projects both on and off campus. Girl Scouts is a wonderful opportunity to make lasting friendships and grow as a leader.
