Good Neighboring Building Community Safety in Times of Uncertainty Our Social Principles urge us to honor every person, dismantle racism, build equitable economies, reject violence, and uphold dignity across borders and identities. This is a faithful expression of a living faith that seeks justice and peace. Here are some upcoming opportunities to learn more about living into our Christian faith and Methodist tradition. O&J Lent Group Tuesdays 6 PM | begins February 24 Hosted by Shelly Clasen, this group will prepare for Lent by using sermon guides to discuss weekend services, and will do so alongside those who have similar concerns about the world. Rather than focusing on negativity or despair, we will connect deeply with each other and build relationships that will help us navigate these challenging times. Sign up HERE

Community Organizing 101 Wednesdays 6 PM | begins April 15 This class will provide a framework for finding your voice, reclaiming individual and collective power, and connecting to others that value the same things. This kind of organizing is rooted in relationships and in our Methodist Social Principles. Register today!
