VICKY SHAFFER WHITE Vicky Shaffer White is the artist behind “A Hint of Floral” - a selfdescribed “abstract naturalist” whose 30-year career has centered on floral and natural subject matter, now evolving into more solemn, abstract territory. With a BFA from Herron School of Art and decades of exhibiting throughout Indianapolis, Vicky brings a deep well of craft and perspective to every piece on view. Come experience how the past year has shaped her artistic voice, and learn about the stories behind these new works.

YOUTH PUMPKIN SALES STARTING SEPTEMBER 28 - END OF OCTOBER
Each year, St. Luke’s Student Ministries, in partnership with Scout Troop 56, puts on a pumpkin fundraiser! All funds go directly to Student Ministry use, Scout Troop 56, and the scholarship accounts of student ministry families. These scholarship accounts allow students to attend summer events, mission trips, and leadership opportunities.
BLESSING OF THE PETS OCTOBER 4 AT 3 PM | NORTH INDY
Bring your family and furry friend for a blessing! Join us at the Circle Drive at the front of the church at Door 1 for a brief service, followed by individual pastoral blessings to each critter in attendance and activities for the whole family. All animals welcome! Just remember your leashes and crates!
MAKE AN IMPACT MULTI-FAITH BOOK STUDY STARTING SEPTEMBER 15 AT 6:30-8 PM
This fall, dive into the 2026 Pulitzer Prize winner for Non-Fiction, “There is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America” by journalist and anthropologist Brian Goldstone. This traveling book study takes place at different congregations each week. Come for the multi-faith fellowship, the deeply moving stories, and the vital conversation on how our community can advocate for change. Registration is limited. UWF RUMMAGE FOR A REASON SEPTEMBER 23-26 | NORTH INDY
PProceeds from this popular event raise money for community partners such as Lucille Raines Residence, Dove Recovery House, and more. This year, we’re also collecting donations for local flood victims: lightly used furniture, working lamps, housewares, fall/ winter clothing, small electrical items, and more are all welcome.
