2024-2025 BLOODHOUND AMBASSADOR APPLICATION The Saint Joseph Academy Bloodhound Ambassadors (BAs) serve as the philanthropic branch of the Saint Joseph Academy Office of Academy Advancement and Alumni Affairs. Composed of students from all grades, they are chosen through a rigorous application process. Our primary goal is to instill in our peers the significance of philanthropy and sustained engagement with the Academy, both during their time at SJA and beyond graduation. Members of this group undergo training to understand the various methods used by nonprofits to secure funds and the crucial role of nurturing and maintaining donor relationships. Bloodhound Ambassadors are expected to possess a deep passion for SJA and possess in-depth knowledge about the school's mission, history, facilities, and programs. In their role, Bloodhound Ambassadors engage with faculty, staff, donors, alumni, and leaders from the community and business sectors. They contribute to campus tours, special events, public speaking engagements, and other fundraising activities. Throughout the school year, they actively participate in school events, ensuring their presence is felt. By embodying SJA pride and highlighting the diverse strengths of our student body, Bloodhound Ambassadors play a vital role in showcasing the excellence of our institution. Those selected for this role gain invaluable opportunities for leadership development, networking, and professional growth.

Responsibilities of a Bloodhound Ambassador: ● ● ● ● ● ● ●
Representing Saint Joseph Academy at both on-campus and off-campus events. Participating in initiatives such as the St. Joseph’s Day Phonathon and/or Thankathon. Assisting in special events by facilitating, greeting, ushering, etc. Supporting Admissions activities as required. Promoting campus events and student activities. Conducting campus tours when necessary. Appearing in SJA promotional materials if requested.
Examples of required functions may include events like Taste of the Town, Community Prayer Breakfast, Saint Joseph’s Day Reception, Volunteer Receptions, Alumni Golf Tournament, etc. These events and activities may occur before school, after school, and/or on weekends. Prior notice will be given.
