Barbara Blades Tyson Burrows announces that her granddaughter, Elizabeth Tyson Williamson and husband Guy welcomed a seven-pound baby boy named Guy Blades Williams on July 6, 2023, making Barbara a great-grandmother for the first time!
Betty Bowe Wallace Hendrix reports, “I am living happily in a retirement community. My ninth great-grandchild is expected soon!”

80th Reunion April 19-20! Anne Sweetser Ireland writes, “We have seven blackbird boxes in our field- three have been successful so far- Happy Thoughts.”
1952 Louise Hopkins Fisher shares, “I'm still here! That's actually a sad thing to say, after one has lost so many friends and family. I now live in the independent side of a continuing care retirement community, and still am quite active with activities ‘off-campus’ and on. Beside my children, I have four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and of course they are all the best! All things considered, life is good.”
