Welcome to the 26/27 concert season

2026/27 is a landmark season of beginnings for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. We are delighted to officially welcome Quantedge Music Director Hannu Lintu – only the fourth Music Director in the SSO’s history. Renowned for his clarity and dynamism on the podium, his mastery of both symphonic and operatic repertoire, and his extensive recording accolades, Hannu leads us into a new artistic chapter. He has worked closely with our new Head of Artistic Planning Christopher Cheong to shape this season of both pioneering exploration and enduring classics for audiences to enjoy. We also warmly welcome our new GK Goh Concertmaster Andrew Beer and Associate Conductor Nathanaël Iselin, and look forward to the energy and vision they will bring throughout the season.

While the SSO’s 47-year history is short by international orchestra standards, it is one we can take great pride in – from recognition in global orchestra rankings to recordings that top international charts. As we move forward with purpose and vigour, we take time to celebrate cherished friends of the orchestra, Conductor Laureates Lan Shui and Hans Graf, who helped build today’s successes as they return for homecoming concerts this season. We will also dedicate a concert in December to our Founding Music Director, the late Choo Hoey.

Across the season, we are pleased to collaborate with acclaimed artists, including Gil Shaham, Marin Alsop (in her Singapore debut) and James Ehnes who will headline our Gala concerts. Our audience can also catch SSO debuts by François Leleux, Nobuyuki Tsujii, Inmo Yang, Clara Jumi Kang, Paul Huang and more. Fans of TwoSet Violin will be excited to know that they are back as part of their worldwide Sacrilegious Games Tour to deliver their signature blend of music and humour in the very first concert of our new season.

Championing Singapore voices has always been a priority. We collaborate with classical Indian dance company Apsaras Dance Company in Agápe which brings together musicians and dancers from Singapore and India in an exploration of human connection, and our Pops series showcases Singaporean musical theatre actress Nathania Ong, known for her West End roles in Les Misérables and Hamilton. We are also proud to present new commissions by Tan Chan Boon and Zechariah Goh, and to spotlight Singapore composers and musicians in our annual National Day Concert and President’s Young Performers concert. In addition, we continue to bring music closer to you with community performances across Singapore, from the Singapore Botanic Gardens to Woodlands Hospital.

In October, we take off on our seven-city China tour with Music Director Hannu Lintu and Singapore violin sensation Chloe Chua. Particularly exciting is our first return to Shanghai in 19 years, presented as part of our artistic partnership with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, as well as our return to the Beijing Music Festival at the NCPA Concert Hall after 15 years. Do catch our two pre-tour performances at the NUS University Cultural Centre to enjoy the programmes right here at home before we represent Singapore overseas.

Finally, no season is complete without the joy of our festive and familyfriendly concerts, as well as the passion of our affiliated performing groups. Our Singapore Symphony Choruses will feature in eight performances in total, and we are proud to celebrate the 10th and 20th anniversaries of the Youth and Children’s Choirs respectively. The Singapore National Youth Orchestra takes the stage in August together with the SSO in our screening of the original Jurassic Park with a live soundtrack performance.

Whether you are new to the SSO or have been our concert-goer for decades, thank you for being a part of our ever-growing community. We are so happy to be the focal point around which people come together in the spirit of harmony and celebration. With our diverse programmes marking fresh beginnings and meaningful returns, we look forward to once again creating magical musical memories together with you.

A warm hello to all, and welcome to the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s 2026/27 season. Joining the SSO represents a significant and exciting responsibility of leading the orchestra into a new artistic chapter, and I look forward to connecting with musicians, audiences and partners of the SSO alike in this journey ahead.

Each season with the SSO brings a vibrant spectrum of musical experiences, from core symphonic repertoire to new music, cross-disciplinary collaborations and community-friendly programming. Within this broad landscape, several artistic threads distinguish this season’s offering.

Across this season, we will perform some of the greatest works written for the symphony orchestra, and also cross into new territories by performing music from some great operas, which are not commonly performed by orchestras in the concert hall. From Bartók’s Duke Bluebeard’s Castle, to scenes from Wagner’s Götterdämmerung, to Verdi’s Requiem (described by some as his greatest opera), these represent some of the greatest lyrical and dramatic moments in all of music history – do come and experience their full power with us.

2027 marks significant composer anniversaries, and we reflect this in our programming. We will celebrate John Adams’s 80th birthday and also mark the bicentenary of Beethoven’s passing by performing his 5th, 6th and 7th symphonies as well as showcasing all ten of his violin sonatas (performed by Gil Shaham and Akira Eguchi).

We also introduce more contemporary works into our programming, bringing you through the sound worlds of Lera Auerbach, Mason Bates and John Williams alike. True to the SSO’s cultural ecosystem, we present contemporary Asian music from Unsuk Chin and Donghoon Shin, as well as Singaporean composers Tan Chan Boon and Zechariah Goh. We also deliver the Singaporean premieres of over 14 compositions. Much awaits – we hope you come curious and hungry for fresh musical offerings.

What remains constant through each concert and every new step we take is the power of great music, compelling artistry, and the power of shared musical experiences. I invite you to continue to immerse, discover, and journey with us as we forge forward.

Our Story

Since its founding in 1979, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) has been Singapore’s flagship orchestra, touching lives through classical music and providing the heartbeat of the cultural scene with its 44-week calendar of events.

In addition to its subscription series concerts, the orchestra is well-loved for its outdoor and community appearances, and its significant role educating the young people of Singapore through its school programmes. The SSO has also earned an international reputation for its orchestral virtuosity, having garnered sterling reviews for its overseas tours and many successful recordings. In 2021, the SSO clinched third place in the prestigious Orchestra of the Year Award by Gramophone. In 2022, BBC Music Magazine named the SSO as one of the 23 best orchestras in the world.

From the 2026/27 season, the SSO will be led by Finnish conductor Hannu Lintu, the fourth Music Director in the orchestra’s history after Choo Hoey (1979–1996), Lan Shui (1997– 2019) and Hans Graf (2020–2026).

The orchestra performs over 60 concerts a year, and its versatile repertoire spans all-time favourites and orchestral masterpieces to exciting cutting-edge premieres. Bridging the musical traditions of East and West, Singaporean and Asian musicians and composers are regularly showcased in the concert season. The SSO makes its performing home at the 1,800-seat state-of-the-art Esplanade Concert Hall. More intimate works, as well as community performances take place at the 673-seat Victoria Concert Hall, the Home of the SSO.

Beyond Singapore, the SSO has performed in Europe, Asia, Australia and the United States. In the 2024/25 season, the SSO performed to full houses at Asia Orchestra Week in Kyoto, Japan, and made its “dazzling –and true-blue – Down Under debut” (Limelight) in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In May 2016, the SSO was invited to perform at the Dresden Music Festival and the Prague Spring International Music Festival. This successful five-city tour of Germany and Prague also included the SSO’s second performance at the Berlin Philharmonie. In 2014, the SSO’s debut at the 120th BBC Proms in London received praise in major UK newspapers The Guardian and The Telegraph. The SSO has also performed in China on multiple occasions.

Weekend Notes on SSO

The SSO has released more than 50 recordings, with over 30 on the BIS label. Recent critically acclaimed albums include A Hero’s Life (OUR Recordings), Symbiosis – Tribute to Bill Evans (Pentatone) and a complete Mozart Violin Concerto cycle with Singaporean violinist Chloe Chua conducted by Hans Graf (Pentatone). The SSO also leads the revival and recording of significant works such as Kozłowski’s Requiem and violin concertos by Robert Russell Bennett and Vernon Duke.

The SSO has collaborated with such great artists as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gustavo Dudamel, Charles Dutoit, Joe Hisaishi, Neeme Järvi, Lorin Maazel, Martha Argerich, Diana Damrau, Janine Jansen, Leonidas Kavakos, Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Mischa Maisky, Gil Shaham, Daniil Trifonov and Krystian Zimerman.

The SSO is part of the Singapore Symphony Group, which also manages the Singapore Symphony Choruses, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, the Singapore International Piano Festival and the biennial National Piano & Violin Competition.

“Dynamic and sharp on the podium” (Bachtrack) and with an “extreme clarity of purpose, every detail worth noting” (Los Angeles Times), Hannu Lintu maintains his reputation as one of the world’s finest conductors.

This season sees Lintu’s tenure as Music Director of Singapore Symphony Orchestra begin – he joined the orchestra for several performances last season including for Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Shostakovich’s 7th Leningrad Symphony. Regular highlights of his calendar include returns to the BBC, St Louis, Toronto, Baltimore and Detroit Symphonies, as well as productions of Strauss’ Elektra and a world premiere of Sebastian Fagerlund’s The Morning Star at Finnish National Opera where he concluded his tenure as Chief Conductor at the end of the 25/26 season. In addition to Singapore, Lintu continues his tenure as Music Director of Orquestra Gulbenkian in Lisbon; and Artistic Partner of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra and Artistic Director of the International Sibelius Festival.

Symphonic highlights of recent years have seen Lintu conduct the Chicago Symphony, New York Philharmonic (including an immediate re-invitation from the orchestra to perform at Bravo! Vail Festival), Berliner Philharmoniker,

The Cleveland Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de Radio France, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, London Philharmonic, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, St Louis Symphony, and Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal. He continues to enjoy relationships with many of the orchestras in his native Finland including the Finnish Radio Symphony and Tampere Philharmonic orchestras – of whom he is a former Chief Conductor.

As an expert in both operatic as well as symphonic repertoire, Lintu’s recent opera highlights have included Enescu’s Œdipe with the Vienna Symphony at Bregenz Festspiele, Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer at Opera de Paris and Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande at Bayerische Staatsoper as a guest conductor, as well as multiple productions at Finnish National Opera and Ballet, including a recent multi-season Ring Cycle, Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, Mozart’s Don Giovanni, a choregraphed reimagining of Verdi’s Messa da Requiem, Puccini’s Turandot, Richard Strauss’ Salome, and Britten’s Billy Budd.

Lintu has made several recordings for Ondine, BIS Records, Naxos, Avie Records and Hyperion Records. His diverse discography comprises recordings of Magnus Lindberg’s orchestral works, the complete Beethoven Piano Concertos with Stephen Hough, and Lutoslawski’s Symphonies Nos. 1-4, all with Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. His often-gilded work boasts two International Classical Music Awards and several nominations for Gramophone and GRAMMY awards in recognition of recording projects such as Bartók’s Violin Concertos with Christian Tetzlaff, works by Sibelius featuring Anne Sofie von Otter, Rautavaara’s Kaivos, and the Violin Concertos of Sibelius and Thomas Adès with Augustin Hadelich and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Lintu studied cello and piano at the Sibelius Academy, where he also later studied conducting with Jorma Panula. He participated in masterclasses with Myung-Whun Chung at L’Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy, and took first prize at the Nordic Conducting Competition in Bergen in 1994.

Bursting with energy and passion, the Singapore Symphony Youth Choir (SSYC) is a vibrant ensemble of singers aged 17 to 28 who thrive on pushing artistic boundaries and growing together. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the SSYC has become a dynamic community where young voices unite to embark on symphonic choral adventures with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Based at the Victoria Concert Hall, the choir has performed under the direction of esteemed conductors like Lim Yau, Sofi Jeannin, François-Xavier Roth, and Stephen Layton, and has shared the stage with The King’s Singers.

The SSCC’s impact extends beyond the concert hall, with appearances at national events and international collaborations in Paris and Kuala Lumpur, championing local music by commissioning works from Singaporean composers including Darius Lim, Zechariah Goh and Kelly Tang. Renowned choral conductor Stephen Layton returns to lead the Singapore Symphony Youth and Children’s Choirs in this remarkable programme spanning the 20th and 21st centuries. The Singapore National Youth Orchestra showcases the extraordinary capability of our youth. It inspires them towards artistic excellence, nurtures them to reach beyond their potential and develops them through rigorous training within a vibrant, supportive, and diverse environment. Established formally in 1980, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) celebrated its 45th anniversary milestone in 2025, marking more than four decades of welcoming generations of youths into the transformative world of orchestral music, performing locally and representing Singapore on prestigious international stages.

The SNYO family comprises two orchestras: the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and Singapore National Youth Sinfonia, with over 180 members aged 10 to 24 from more than 70 schools across Singapore. Members are guided by professional musicians through rehearsals, sectionals, and masterclasses. Recognised by the Ministry of Education as a National Project of Excellence, participation in the SNYO is recognised as a Co-Curricular Activity.

Music Director Joshua Tan has led the SNYO since 2018, with Associate Conductor Seow Yibin in position since 2022.

Over the years, the SNYO has performed in major concert venues and music festivals across Australia, Austria, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. The orchestra has also engaged in artistic collaborations with the Singapore Ballet, TwoSet Violin, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and fellow youth orchestras including the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra.

The Singapore Symphony launches its 2026/27 season with a bold step into the future. The journey begins with two contemporary works: a newly commissioned piece by Singaporean composer Tan Chan Boon, and Mason Bates’s Nomad Concerto, “the mysterious and soulful music of the wanderer”, written to highlight the Old World warmth and elegance of master violinist Gil Shaham.

Set against these fresh sonic landscapes is Mahler’s Fifth Symphony, a towering masterpiece that captures a world on the brink of transformation. Its electrifying opening, radiant Adagietto and triumphant finale form a grand fin de siècle arc—an eclipse of the old and a blaze of the new.

This powerful programme also marks the dawn of a new chapter for the orchestra: the inauguration of Hannu Lintu as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director. A season opens, a new era begins.

Continuing Hannu Lintu’s inaugural concert series, this programme explores the expressive breadth of orchestral and operatic storytelling. Richard Strauss’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra opens with an incandescent sunrise, a symphonic reflection on humanity, purpose, and destiny. From the light of knowledge, we descend into shadow with Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle, a chilling tale of curiosity, desire, and doom, brought to life through the supernatural textures of his one-act opera.

Award-winning Chinese bass-baritone Shenyang (沈洋, BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2007) and English mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnston (Royal Philharmonic Society Singer of the Year 2021) take on the roles of Duke Bluebeard and the ill-fated Judith, drawing audiences into their dark, suspenseful story.

On 8 Oct 2026, Singapore’s young star violinist Chloe Chua will perform Mendelssohn’s lyrical Violin Concerto, “the most inward, the heart’s jewel” among the great German violin concertos. The following day, 9 Oct, Chloe reunites with fellow Menuhin alumnus He Ziyu, who partners her on viola in Mozart’s charming Sinfonia Concertante.

Led by our Music Director Hannu Lintu, these attractive programmes that the SSO will bring on its China Tour also presents Singaporean composer Wang Chenwei’s picturesque tone poem, The Sisters’ Islands, now an established work in Singapore’s symphonic repertoire. Mahler’s First Symphony, a titan among symphonies, concludes these concerts held at the University Cultural Centre at the National University of Singapore.

Subito con forza – Suddenly with power is renowned South Korean composer Unsuk Chin’s fiery tribute to Beethoven: five minutes of belligerence and frustration, a composer struggling with growing deafness, interspersed with glimpses of inner quiescence. It is a fitting precursor to Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, an orchestral turbine of irresistible energy with a heart of unforgettable angst. Known for his “unfailing attractive, golden, and resonant tone” (The Strad), Taiwanese-American violinist Paul Huang makes his SSO debut with Dvořák’s sunny Violin Concerto in this programme conducted by Macau-born maestro Lio Kuokman.

Hypermelody. John Adams’s word to describe his “implacably melodic” 1993 Violin Concerto. Let Dutch violinist Simone Lamsma take you on a mesmerising ride accompanied by an orchestra augmented by electronic synthesisers. A startling contrast to the celebrated dances of Appalachian Spring by 20th century contemporary Aaron Copland. These American portraits of nostalgia and discovery are followed by Schumann’s Fourth Symphony, a symphony composed twice – written in 1841 after No. 1 and revised in 1851 after his middle symphonies. The Singapore Symphony Orchestra performs these remarkable works under the baton of our Music Director Hannu Lintu.

Symphonies

This programme curated by Music Director Hannu Lintu begins fittingly with Schubert’s most famous symphony, the “Unfinished,” a work whose lyrical immediacy and structural boldness would echo far beyond his own time. Schubert’s legacy is taken up directly in Berio’s Rendering, the 20th-century Italian composer’s imaginative mosaic of the D. 936A Symphony Schubert sketched in the final weeks of his short life in 1828. In Rendering, Schubert’s symphonic poise dissolves into curious veils of celesta and then re-emerges, transformed, revealing the kintsugi-like artistry with which Berio restores and reimagines the fragments.

Schubert was also a profound inspiration to his younger contemporary Schumann, whose Cello Concerto completes the arc of the evening. Its poetic introspection and restless lyricism find a compelling advocate in British cellist Steven Isserlis, the soloist for tonight’s performance.

Slonimsky’s Earbox, an imaginatively titled burst of colours, shapes and sounds takes its cue from Stravinsky’s Song of the Nightingale, both works paired tonight in celebration of the remarkable American composer John Adams’s 80th birthday.

Equally kaleidoscopic is South Korean composer Donghoon Shin’s Upon His Ghostly Solitude, a 2023 orchestra showpiece, inspired by W. B. Yeats’s devastating war-tone poem Nineteen Hundred and Nineteen. Rounding out this exhilarating programme, the superlatively acclaimed Chinese pianist Haochen Zhang tackles Prokofiev’s fearsomely demanding Second Piano Concerto in partnership with our Music Director Hannu Lintu.

The Singapore Symphony proudly presents our Conductor Laureate Lan Shui, returning to the podium of the Esplanade Concert Hall for this homecoming concert. Joining him is Liao Chang Yong, widely regarded as China’s finest baritone, in Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer, a symphonic song cycle of romantic heartbreak, loneliness and despair. In 1937, Arnold Schoenberg orchestrated Brahms’s Piano Quartet No. 1 and dressed it in symphonic splendour, a brilliant score that inspired the father of American ballet George Balanchine to choreograph it for the New York City Ballet in 1966 as the Brahms–Schoenberg Quartet

Playful exuberance and melodic charisma, words that describe both French conductor/oboist François Leleux and Mozart’s sunny Oboe Concerto, one of the finest works in the genre that’s a delight from start to finish. Brahms (in)famously took 21 years to finish his First Symphony, writing in the shadow of his illustrious predecessor, Beethoven. Its premiere in 1876 was just 40 years before the 26-year-old Prokofiev produced his Classical Symphony in 1917 – four decades that saw the Late Romantic Symphony transform into the many flavours of the 20th century such as Neoclassicism.

Singapore Symphony Conductor Laureate Hans Graf returns with a vivid programme spanning centuries of artistry. The journey begins with Hindemith’s Mathis der Maler (Matthias the Painter), the 1934 symphony inspired by Matthias Grünewald’s Isenheim Altarpiece. Hindemith brings to life three of the altarpiece’s dramatic panels, transforming Renaissance imagery into modern symphonic colour. Respighi’s Pini di Roma continues this thread of artistic re-imagination, painting the Eternal City in four luminous scenes.

Likewise, one virtuoso pays homage to another. Benjamin Schmid, returning after his critically acclaimed 2024 appearance, performs Prokofiev’s evocative First Violin Concerto alongside Fritz Kreisler’s witty and ingenious concert paraphrase on Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 — a work that playfully honours and expands on the legendary showmanship of its original composer.

From this cornerstone of the Germanic tradition, the programme journeys through Brahms’s radiant Second Symphony, written 150 years ago in 1877, music of “rippling streams, blue sky, sunshine, and cool green shadows”, before embarking on the fantastical escapades of the would-be knight, Don Quixote

Mahler and Britten: What the Wild Flowers Tell Me

Acclaimed violinist Clara Jumi Kang makes her Singapore debut with Benjamin Britten’s Violin Concerto, an intensely virtuosic work both darkly lyrical and wildly exciting, often compared to Prokofiev’s examples in the genre. Britten’s chamber orchestra arrangement of the second movement from Mahler’s Third Symphony, What the Wild Flowers Tell Me, was written in 1941 at a time when Mahler’s symphonies were yet to become the concert hall staples of today.

Distinguished British conductor Mark Wigglesworth leads the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in these works, culminating in Beethoven’s signature Fifth Symphony as we celebrate his 200th anniversary.

A musical memorial of intense drama and immense scale, Verdi’s Requiem traces its history to the idea for a collaborative funeral mass in honour of Rossini, who died in 1868. Although this was not realised in the manner of his vision, Verdi’s contribution became the root of the 90-minute Requiem in honour of the pioneer Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni.

Witness this tremendous mass of operatic proportions performed by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Chorus, Youth Choir, and guest vocalists, under the baton of Music Director Hannu Lintu.

The SSO’s 2026/27 season-closing concert begins with a majestic send-off: E.T. goes home riding John Williams’s soaring, unforgettable music for the classic 1981 Steven Spielberg film. Before Gershwin’s signature Rhapsody in Blue, Kapustin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 adds a heady dose of jazz with saxophones, drum set, guitar and just sheer musical fun. What better exponent to join us than pianist Frank Dupree with his infectious energy and sparkling enthusiasm?

The glitter continues with Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer Kevin Puts’s cinematic Concerto for Orchestra, a 6-part gem that includes a “Hymn for the Hurting”, “Music Box with Aretta”, a tender Sicilienne and lively chases to bring the season to a terrific close.

Connecting Communities Through Music

Beyond the concert hall, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of classical music with communities across Singapore. Through free concerts, school programmes and partnerships, we connect people of all ages and backgrounds with live symphonic music.

Making Concerts Accessible To All

Each season features a vibrant range of community initiatives, from signature free performances at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Victoria Concert Hall to heartland presentations and family-friendly Concerts for Children. These experiences offer welcoming entry points for first-time listeners and enjoyable moments for classical music fans.

Inspiring the Future Generations

Education and talent development remain central to our mission. The SSO, Singapore Symphony Choruses and Singapore National Youth Orchestra present workshops, demonstrations, digital resources and mentorship opportunities that nurture curiosity, creativity and musical growth. Complementing school curricula with programmes like preconcert workshops and more, offer students engaging pathways to learn, perform and connect with music.

Uniting in Symphony

Together with artists, educators and community partners, we continue to build a vibrant community with music. The relaunched Venue Support Scheme extends SSO expertise and Victoria Concert Hall as a platform for Singapore-based Western classical ensembles to realise compelling projects, supporting local talent and collaboration. Through partnerships with local ensembles, guest artists and cultural organisations, the SSO champions diverse voices and local compositions, ensuring music remains accessible, relevant and meaningful for all.

Established in July 2017, the SSO Concertmaster, GK Goh Chair honours Mr Goh Geok Khim, and celebrates his enduring contribution to Singapore’s cultural landscape. We extend our gratitude to the Family and Friends of Mr Goh, and especially to Mr and Mrs Goh Yew Lin, for their generosity.

Concessions

Students, senior citizens (55 years and above), NSF personnel and persons with disabilities (PWDs) enjoy concession discounts. Venue ushers may request to view a valid concession pass. Concession tickets are strictly non-transferable.

Support the Young Symphony Explorers

Going to a concert for the first time can be an unforgettable experience for a young person.

We believe that every child should get to enjoy music, regardless of their financial situation. That is why we have set up the Young Symphony Explorers initiative. Through this programme we provide complimentary or discounted tickets to students and other children who may not have the means to attend our concerts.

Our Young Symphony Explorers initiative lets children and students enjoy world-class performances by SSO at the Esplanade Concert Hall and Victoria Concert Hall. School groups can apply for ticket prices as low as $10, and charity groups can apply for free tickets.
