It’s wet, it’s wild and it’s brand new. It’s the new splash pad at Southgate’s Market Center Park. The city unveiled the park’s newest feature on a warm day last month and it was met with approval by some of the city’s younger residents. Funded by a grant from Wayne County, the splash pad will open for a full season in 2023 and it is free to the public. See more photos from the ribbon cutting on Page xx.
