FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC AT VENICE SYMPHONY
GRADES K-5 | June 1-5 and June 8-12; 9am to 12 pm, Garden Elementary at 700 Center Road, Venice. GRADES 6-11 | June 1-5 and June 8-12; 1-4pm at Venice High School, Venice Performing ARts Center, 1 Indian Avenue, Building 5, Venice. The Venice Summer Music Academy offers a dynamic, two-week program designed to inspire students in grades K–11 through high-quality music education. Participants receive instruction in band, orchestra, voice, and jazz, led by experienced educators who support both beginners and advanced musicians. Students build foundational techniques, ensemble skills, and musical confidence while exploring creativity in a collaborative environment. The program emphasizes growth, expression, and performance readiness, culminating in a final concert at the Venice Performing Arts Center. Various Camps Running From June 8 to August 7, Ages 5 to 17. For over 38 years, FST’s Summer Camp has been welcoming young artists to our downtown campus to discover, create, and connect through the art of live theatre. FST Summer Camps give young performers the chance to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop performance skills in a fun, supportive environment. Sessions are offered for youth ages 5-17 with partial and full scholarships available. Led by our team of resident artists, campers will explore acting, improv, musical theatre, sketch comedy, and learn about the behind-the-scenes aspects of live theatre. Our teaching artists strive to nurture individual growth, collaboration, and lasting friendships. Offerings range from 1-week to 3-week sessions.
