COMMUNITY DAY SCHOOL (CDS) is more than a place of learning; it is a vibrant, welcoming community that celebrates the individuality of every student. Our centrally located 8.8-acre campus in Sarasota offers space for educational exploration, discovery, and meaningful student experiences. It integrally supports our commitment to students spending meaningful time outside each day, creating an effective learning environment that enhances their academic engagement and overall well-being.
In preschool, our Reggio Emilia-inspired, play-based approach nurtures creativity and curiosity. In our elementary and middle school programs, a rigorous, student-centered, project-based learning (PBL) curriculum ensures that children not only excel academically but also connect academic content to real-world experiences. Small class sizes and a hands-on approach allow students to dive deep into their passions and explore their natural interests.

Catholic School offers PK3 through 8th-grade students a Catholic classical liberal arts education in a Christ-centered environment, forming one community of families, students, and staff.
