want to first thank you for your interest in this sale. We are extremely excited about the offering! The idea of this sale started two years ago when Chris Allen, Hatch Smith, & Jake Mathews decided to join forces in a marketing effort. Each started in the Brahman breed around the same time and all had a similar vision of purchasing the best. Since their beginning, each has been successful in different aspects of the breed. After last year’s sale, Hatch sold his RedSmith Genetics herd thus Sandglass Ranch & KI Cattle Company are the principals in this offering. In this sale, each of the consignors are offering from the “heart” of their herds. Many of the mature cows selling were foundation females and proven donors. ONLY functioning and fertile cows are selling with the mature females either being bred or having a calf at side. The younger cattle are the next generation of these programs and progressive in their genetics. To further make this offering valuable, Sandglass Ranch will be selling ALL of their marketable cattle from the Hallettsville, Texas ranch in this sale due to the loss of a lease and extreme drought conditions. As you go through the catalog it will become apparent the emphasis placed on quality in the offering. Not only will attendees have the opportunity to take advantage of an outstanding cattle offering but a sale day full of fun, food, and fellowship. BIDDING:

Each animal on which there are two or more bids will be sold to the highest bidder.

TERMS:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All cattle will be paid for immediately after the sale. Checks must be made payable to Infinity Cattle Services. Upon the sale of each lot there is a contract between buyer and seller and any misunderstanding, confusion, or dispute that may arise must be settled between buyer and seller. Sale management shall have no responsibility or liability.

DISPUTES:

The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters will be final.

HANDLING:

As their sale is affected, all animals will be maintained at the purchaser’s risk.

REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES:

The sale management will transfer the registration certificate to the new owner’s membership with the American Brahman Breeders Association within 30 days of the sale.

FROZEN GENETICS:

After payment is received on the embryo & semen packages the owners will release the genetics to the buyer’s account. Shipping of the genetics is at the expense of the buyer.

CATTLE TO BE EXPORTED:

Animals that are sold for export must be paid for at the time of the sale. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser of these cattle for export to make arrangements with the seller for the care of the animal after the sale. The sale will place the cattle in the care of the consignor for the new owner at the price of $8.00 per head per day (paid by purchaser) until they are shipped.

BREEDERS GUARANTEE:

Every animal in this sale is to the best of the breeder’s knowledge, free from any disease and are all sound. Pregnant cows & heifers are considered breeders without further guarantee. Buyer has 30 days from the date of the sale to have an accredited veterinarian check pregnancy status of bred females. Open or exposed females will be guaranteed by the seller to be a breeder for a maximum of one year following the sale date or for young heifers until they reach two years of age. If an animal fails to breed during the previously established time limit, it may be returned to the seller in good condition. Seller reserves the right to try said animal for six months and if it proves to be a breeder, return it at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves to be a non-breeder, an animal of comparable rank or credit on the purchase of another animal will be offered. If heifers are aspirated prior to being bred there is NO breeding guarantee. If cattle are purchased for foreign export, cattle are sold “As Is” and the buyer will take full responsibility of animal, unless prior agreements are made before final bid is made.

HEALTH:

All necessary health papers will be furnished in order for the cattle to be shipped anywhere in the United States. Any international shipments and protocols will be the responsibility of the buyer.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalog and all other announcements.

LIABILITIES:

All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and Villa Ranch, Infinity Cattle Services, or any of the consignors assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident that may occur. Infinity Cattle Services accepts no liability for the animals after they are sold.

TRANSPORTATION:

It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all shipping and transportation arrangements. Transportation services will be offered on the day of the sale.

Chris Allen’s interest in Brahman-influenced cattle began when he was a child showing Indu Brazil & American breed cross cattle. Following a stint in the Marine Corp and the start of a successful business career Chris wanted to create something for his boys. In 2015 Sandglass Ranch was started as a commercial cattle operation in McCaulley, Texas. In 2017 they purchased their first Brahman cattle that were used in an upscale F-1 program. After seeing the breed’s value, Sandglass Ranch expanded into registered polled and horned Brahmans in 2019 when they purchased some of the most proven & popular genetics in the breed. Sandglass Ranch expanded its operation to the Hallettsville, Texas Area in 2021 and remains as a premier operation focusing on quality over quantity and is known throughout the breed due to their superior seedstock.

KI Cattle Company was started by Jake & Britt Mathews in 2017. Since this time they have strived to build a Registered Brahman program around the most proven genetics in the breed. The Sellman Family who showed 490/1 first aspirated her producing K-K Polled Toni 200/2 (S) who was extremely competitive placing in the top 4 in the ABBA Shows entered picking up a Division title at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show. We also retained a daughter of 490/1. The pedigree of 490/1 includes +JDH Mr. Manso 854/4 who has sired winners around the world, the International Champion and Vanguard Sire (+) JDH Karu Manso 800, and JDH Mr. Manso 579/4.
