Sale Order
Sale begins at 12:30 pm. The order of the sale is determined by the index. The highest indexing bull sells first, and is followed in descending order, regardless of breed. Index = Average Daily Gain (ADG) + Weight per Day of Age (WDA)

Viewing
Bulls will not be run through the ring on sale day, but will be penned at the sale site for close inspection. A video of each bull will run during the auction. The videos will be available prior to the sale via a link on our website. All persons who attend this sale do so at their own risk. The owners and sponsors assume no liability, legal or othe wise, for accidents of any nature.

Sale Terms
Each bull will sell to the highest bidder, with the auctioneer settling any disputes regarding bids. Terms of the sale are cash or check. Each bull becomes the risk of the purchaser immediately upon being sold in the auction ring; however, every reasonable precaution will be taken by the staff until all cattle are loaded. Sale staff will continue to care for bulls for a period of 24 hours following the sale. Buyers will receive a properly transferred certificate of registry at the consignor’s expense, and buyers who have not received registration papers within 90 days of the sale should contact sale management. Health certificates will be available for each bull sold to an out-of-state buyer. Buyers from States with special entry requirements should contact 229-386-3683 prior to purchase. All bulls will sell with a minimum (floor) price of $2,500.
Eligibility for Sale
All bulls have genomic enhanced EPDs and are have a parent’s qualified status. Unruly or unsound bulls will not be offered for sale. Each bull will have a minimum yearling scrotal circumference of 30 cm and must pass a breeding soundness examination prior to sale. All bulls are free of the following known genetic defects: AM, NH, CA, DD, OS, and Dwarfism. The potential or carrier status of all bulls for newly identified genetic defects not listed above is fully disclosed in this sale catalog.

Test Data Collection
Bulls were received on October 2nd, 2025. After a 21-day diet transition period, weights were taken at 0, 28, 56,and 84 days. Hip heights were recorded at 0 and 84 days.
Health and Fertility
Health is excellent. Bulls are thoroughly examined for physical soundness, and have passed a breeding soundness exam by a licensed veterinarian.
Ration and Care

Each sale-eligible bull has passed strict performance standards and has a complete record presented in the summary below the two-generation pedigree.
Ultrasound Measurements
Bulls were scanned in accordance with ILIA CUIP lab procedures and interpretations. REA, IMF, and Fat adjustments were made to 365 days of age.
Genomic Enhanced EPDs
All bulls selling have had DNA submitted to their respective breed association for genomic evaluation and parentage verification. This increases the EPD accuracy to provide more certainty in decision making.
This year has been one for the books. These bulls will be stout and impressive to evaluate. Making your decisions on bull purchases is a critically important part of your herd’s future. We want to make that as effortless as possible, which is why we go to great lengths to ensure you have current EPD and ultrasound data, along with videos of each bull, and online bidding for those who can’t join us live on sale day.
Thanks go to Davy Rooks and Grace Nyhuis for their commitment to the Bull Test. They are what truly make the programs so great to work with, whether you are a consignor, buyer, or one of the UGA team. Lastly, Dr. Lawton Stewart went above and beyond once again this year in supporting the Tifton Bull Test as a nutritionist and advisor. Dr. Stewart has now moved to a new position as Assistant Dean for Extension in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, but we will no doubt continue to see him around. Thankfully, Dr. Pedro Carvalho has officially joined the UGA Beef Team and is stationed at the Tifton Campus. He will provide faculty leadership to both the Tifton Bull Test and the Tifton HERD programs. This is awesome news, as Dr. Carvalho is an experienced beef cattle nutritionist who comes to us from Colorado State University with a strong background in nutrition. Thankful that he and his wife have made the transition to Tifton! Moving forward, Dr. Carvalho and Grace will be your main contacts for Tifton Bull Evaluation and Tifton HERD.
