The most effective communication includes building rapport through establishing positive provider relationships that promotes good communication, respect, and trust. This includes talking with them and having a conversation that should go over areas outside of their vaccine hesitancy or confidence. A good communicator should always work to stay non-judgmental while keeping an open mind to that individuals' situation/concerns to help ensure that patients never find themselves on the defensive during a conversation with a provider.
