Remember you are always welcome to attend our Club’s General Meetings at the Red Cross Hall in Macquarie Road, Springwood on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7.30 p.m. (There is no meeting in December). Training Days: Agility Monday evening 7.00 – 8.00 p.m. Obedience Tuesday l0.00 a.m. - Thursday evening 7.30 – 8.45 p.m. Wet Weather: If it has been raining for a few days check the Blue Mountains Oval Closure Hotline after 3.00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. PRESIDENT’S REPORT Well, Christmas will soon be upon us again and this will be our final Newsletter for the year so we have included birthdays for November, December and January. Our final official training night will be the last Thursday in November which is 24th November. On December 1st it will be our Christmas B.B.Q and Fun Night where we hold a FREE B.B.Q for our members and their families and a few games we play with members and their dogs. There will be a sheet at the sign on table for members to fill in with how many people will be attending. This has been a good year for our Club and I must say it must be one of the most happiest clubs I have ever been associated with and this comes back to our hard working and ‘bright ideas’ committee members, without whom a club cannot function, let alone be successful. We have been involved in many local activities this year including Australia Day, Anzac Day but Springwood Foundation Day was not held this year but hopefully it will be back next year. Let me remind all members that a club cannot keep relying on a few people all the time, it takes an effort from all members not matter how little of your time you can give and this was shown on our Agility Day held in October where many of our members put their hand up to volunteer on the day. This all helps in conveying how much our club and our dogs mean to us.. At this time I would like to thank our committee members for their wonderful effort this year and take this opportunity to wish all members a Happy Christmas and a great New Year. Lynn Olson
