MK-Range Rear Discharge Spreaders

Key Features

HydraPoint Automatic Chain Tensioning

HydraPoint is SpreadPoint's Automatic chain tensioning system which allows the machines to automatically adjust the floor and chain tension while on the move. It ensures the correct tension is always applied, reducing wear and eliminating dislodged chains.

SensePoint ISOBUS

Compatible with all certified ISOBUS UT terminals. Each spreader is supplied with a 9-Pin ISOBUS connector for easy installation. GPS speed and VRT can also be supplied,depending on the UT unit.

Two Directional Rotors (Hardox®)

Two directional helical rotors are designed to improve spread pattern and durability. Each rotor is dynamically balanced in-house. Swinging Flails also protects your machines from inevitable foreign objects.

Here at SpreadPoint, simplicity is key! HydraPoint allows you to easily switch between 'Work Mode' and 'Service Mode'. When in 'Work Mode', the door will be down to allow for loading. This sends pressure to the rams which will keep pressure on the floor, automatically keeping tension on the chains.

When switching to 'Service Mode', the operator can easily service the floor and chains by simply turning the lever to 'Service Mode' which decompresses the floor for ease of work. This process ensures quick and simple replacement of floor slats for minimal machine downtime. Once finished, switch back to 'Work Mode' and chains will automatically adjust and tension to the correct settings.

1. Hitch your tractor onto the MK-Spreader

2. Attach the PTO shaft

3. Connect brake hoses (Air / Hydraulic)

4. Ensure the machine is set to 'Work Mode'

5. Plug in controller screen which allows you to monitor floor and rotor speed when operating the machine.

6. Set the floor speed for the type of material you will be spreading (Factory setting will be suitable for most materials.

Once again we had a great two days at the Spring Farm Machinery Show in Lisburn. We talked to new and returning customers and it was also an opportunity to catch up with many of our neighbours and friends too. Thanks to all who stopped by!

Velde Maskin Visit SpreadPoint HQ

At the end of January, we had the pleasure of welcoming Velde Maskin, our Norwegian distributors to SpreadPoint HQ.

During the two-day trip, we got to meet in person some of the Velde Maskin Team who have been representing SpreadPoint in Norway. They were given the grand tour of our HQ facilities as well as a trip to sister company, Kane Trailers. Valuable training was also provided so the team can bring first hand experience back to Norway. We really enjoyed our time with the team and have now learned a few words in Norwegian- we will be practising for next time you visit!
