The World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) is more than a competition - it is a living tribute to the courage, dedication, and unity of first responders Every two years, more than 8,700 attendees from over 70 nations - active and retired law enforcement officers, firefighters, and public safety professionals - come together to showcase their skill across dozens of sports. In 2020, Birmingham was awarded the honor of hosting the 2025 Games, becoming the first city in the southeastern United States to welcome this global event. The city’s legendary Southern hospitality, coupled with its history of resilience and progress, elevated the experience for athletes and visitors alike.
