To unite public safety athletes and provide them with the ultimate in an Olympic-style athletic experience. We strive to promote health and wellness among all public safety personnel and create lasting memories for the athletes, their families, and the communities we serve.

The World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) is more than a competition - it is a living tribute to the courage, dedication, and unity of first responders Every two years, more than 8,700 attendees from over 70 nations - active and retired law enforcement officers, firefighters, and public safety professionals - come together to showcase their skill across dozens of sports. Beyond medals, the WPFG is about forging friendships across borders, honoring sacrifice, and strengthening an international community bound by service.
In 2020, Birmingham was awarded the honor of hosting the 2025 Games, becoming the first city in the southeastern United States to welcome this global event. The city’s legendary Southern hospitality, coupled with its history of resilience and progress, elevated the experience for athletes and visitors alike. Unlike other global multi-sport events, the WPFG stands apart in both purpose and spirit - where competition inspires connection, diversity enriches tradition, and every athlete represents not only their nation but also the brotherhood and sisterhood of service.
