KIDS TO PARKS DAY IN PLANTATION

10:00AM-2:00PM. Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. PLANTATION’S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
9:00AM - PARADE: Begins at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and NW 46th Avenue, heads west to 69th Avenue, to NW 4th Street, to 73rd Avenue, ending at City Hall. 7:00 PM - FREE CONCERT: Concert is held at the north end of Central Park. Bring along a picnic dinner, lawn chairs or blanket. Food is available for purchase. 9:00 PM - FIREWORKS: Featuring one of the best pyrotechnic shows in Broward. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from using fireworks, sparklers and alcoholic beverages within the park. Parking is limited so for your convenience please plan to come early or carpool. If you live in the area, walk or ride your bike. (954) 452-2510.

CITY OF PLANTATION SUMMER CAMPS June 13 - August 5, Program Hours: 7:30AM-6:00PM The Plantation Summer Camp Programs are operated and run by the City of Plantation Parks & Recreation Department. Residents Registration: Registration forms will be available online and at Plantation Community Centers starting Monday, February 21st.
Registration begins Monday, April 18 for residents. Proof of residency is REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. No exceptions will be granted. Non-Residents Registration begins Monday, May 2nd. Registration will be held between 8:30AM-8:00PM at Plantation Central Park, Volunteer Park Community Center, Plantation Community Center, and the Jim Ward Community Center.
