AKU is strengthening its presence in the fast hiking segment by introducing high-tech models such as the Aster GTX and Furiosa, without neglecting traditional hiking
For Spring/Summer 2027, AKU is firmly focusing on fast hiking, a segment that is redefining the outdoor footwear market and profoundly influencing the very concept of hiking. This strategic direction translates into a collection centered on high-tech models such as the Aster GTX—the season’s main new release—and the Furiosa, which has evolved with new features designed for those seeking comfort, breathability, and cushioning. At the same time, AKU continues to invest in traditional hiking, a segment that remains an integral part of the brand’s DNA. This is demonstrated by the redesign of the Trekker Lite, a historic model in the collection, and the expansion of the Adapta line with a new WIDE variant designed to offer a more comfortable fit. We talked about it with Giulio Piccin, AKU’s product & CSR manager.
What is AKU’s strategic approach for the SS 27 collection?
You were talking about new ideas for product innovation. What technologies does AKU rely on to enhance the performance of its fast hiking shoes?

For the SS 27 season, we focused on developing new offerings in line with the main trend in the outdoor footwear market—namely, fast hiking— without, however, neglecting traditional hiking, a core element of the AKU brand and a market segment in which, despite many negative forecasts, we still see a significant opportunity.
Can you explain in more detail the reasons behind this decision?
Fast hiking is, to all intents and purposes, the market segment that is driving a genuine transformation of the traditional concept of hiking footwear. Its position as a middle ground between hiking boots and ultra-light trail running shoes has sparked new ideas for product innovation, gradually attracting interest from an increasingly broad and diverse audience that views hiking as a fast-paced, athletic experience to be enjoyed in total comfort. This comfort extends from the trail to city sidewalks or the office— places where these shoes are worn not only for comfort but also to express a sense of belonging to the world of outdoor enthusiasts. It is no exaggeration to say that many people today view certain fast-hiking models as a fashion accessory, as well as functional footwear for walking quickly on a mountain trail—at least up to a certain level of difficulty.
Over the past few seasons, we have developed new products that have captured the public’s interest, thanks in part to the inclusion of “high-functional-impact” technologies such as the BOA closure system on the Furiosa BOA model, already featured in the 2026 summer collection and paired with specific tread patterns—all Vibram, featuring the Megagrip compound and Traction Lug technology—the most advanced formulations provided by our long-standing partner to ensure high traction performance, particularly during intensive use on challenging surfaces. The main technical innovation for the 2027 summer season in the fast hiking segment is the Aster GTX, an agile and protective model featuring structural details designed to shield the forefoot from rough terrain and a new D_DFS/Dynamic Dual Fit System lacing system that operates dynamically, stabilizing the instep during descents and locking the heel during the push-off phase. Alongside the Aster—a model whose launch will be supported by a dedicated B2C advertising campaign—we’ve paired with the lightweight version of the Furiosa, which features a traditional lacing system but incorporates advanced solutions for breathability in the Engineered Mesh upper and for cushioning in the midsole, made from Supercritical Foam. This is a nitrogen-injected foam material—very lightweight and extremely innovative—that guarantees a perfect combination of cushioning and compression resistance.
Traditional hiking, as mentioned, is a segment in which we continue to believe and for which we want to emphasize our role as a leading brand. For the Spring/Summer 2027 season, we are introducing a major redesign of the Trekker Lite model—now in its fourth generation—featuring a new upper and midsole design, combined with the traditional comfort that has always defined this AKU classic, which has been part of the collection for over 25 years. Finally, thanks to the latest-generation injection molding technology available at our Montebelluna plant, we’ve added a new Wide-fit version in nubuck leather to the Adapta family to meet the demand of a mature audience that seeks high-quality materials combined with adequate comfort in traditional hiking footwear.

The Rey Jacket and Rey Overpants by AlpineStandards, thanks to the use of the BARMAlite membrane, are the right choice for technical and fast-paced mountaineering in mild weather
In the fast mountaineering segment, where every gram counts, the brand AlpineStandards presents its new offering for the warm season: a three-layer shell jacket and overpants designed for those who move quickly at high altitudes, when the weather changes rapidly but the temperature remains mild. These are the Rey Jacket and Rey Overpant, developed using BARMAlite, the lightest membrane in the BARMA platform.
BARMA AND BARMALITE: MORE THAN JUST WATERPROOFING BARMA is the platform through which AlpineStandards selects and develops

membranes in collaboration with specialized external partners. BARMAlite weighs just 96 g/m² and is a three-layer membrane developed specifically for quick use during the warm season. The key distinction is conceptual rather than technical: in most membranes, waterproofness comes at the expense of breathability. With BARMA, AlpineStandards has reversed this trade-off, designing BARMAlite with a waterproofness-to-breathability ratio of 1:1.5, tilted in favor of breathability. The logic is simple: in summer alpine terrain, when moving at a brisk pace, the sweat trapped inside wets you just as much as the rain kept out—always. BARMAlite is also environmentally conscious, thanks to its PFAS-free properties.
An ultralight, packable three-layer hardshell jacket designed for fast mountaineering in warm weather, offering dual protection against wind and rain. The construction is deliberately stripped down to the essentials, using BARMAlite ripstop fabric, to maximize weight savings without compromising waterproofing. The hood is helmet-compatible; there is no chest pocket—a design choice that ensures full compatibility with a climbing harness—and the semi-elastic cuffs ensure a precise fit. It folds into its own pocket for quick stowage as soon as conditions improve.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
• Three-layer BARMAlite ripstop fabric
• Minimalist design for the lightest possible weight
• Folds up into its own pocket
• Helmet-compatible hood
• No chest pockets, fully compatible with a climbing harness
Rounding out the fast mountaineering lineup is the three-layer shell overpants, which are also ultralight and packable. The minimalist construction, made of BARMAlite ripstop, offers protection from wind and rain. The panels at the instep are reinforced with Challenge Sailcloth to withstand abrasion from crampons and boots, while the ergonomic cut preserves mobility on technical terrain. The waist is adjustable to accommodate changes in clothing, and the full-length side zipper—running from the hips to the hem—allows you to put on and take off the jacket even over boots and crampons. It is designed for summer or mild alpine conditions, when weight and packability matter more than maximum protection, and can be worn on its own or over a softshell.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
• BARMAlite ripstop fabric with three layers
• Simple construction
• Challenge Sailcloth reinforcement at the instep (crampon-resistant patch)
• Full-length side zipper, from the hips to the hem
• Adjustable waist
• Double protection against wind and rain
• Easy to put on and take off over boots and crampons
• Suitable for fast mountaineering during the warm season
• Can be worn over a softshell
• Ergonomic and technical cut

• Semi-elastic cuffs
• Designed for fast mountaineering during the warm season
• Double protection from wind and rain

Lightweight, modular, and versatile: these are just some of the features of the C.A.M.P. lineup, which, from tents to ice axes, offers highly technical products for demanding mountaineers and climbers

AERIS HELMET
The lightest of the C.A.M.P. helmets and one of the lightest on the market: Aeris is designed for mountaineers and climbers who spend long days on the rock and therefore need the lightest possible weight, maximum protection, and a high level of comfort. The in-mold EPP shell, featuring ShieldTexa (Pat. Pend.), incorporates a layer of ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) felt and an EPS liner in the upper section: a solution that enhances energy absorption and distribution in the event of an impact, particularly effective against sharp objects. Near the lower edge, the helmet offers enhanced side protection, in compliance with the new EN 12492:2025 standard and the latest revision (2025) of the UIAA 106 standard. The 21 vents ensure constant and effective ventilation without compromising durability. The innovative rear adjustment system, featuring minimal, symmetrical, and foldable straps, provides perfect stability. The inner padding is removable.
Available in the men’s CR3 and women’s Nova versions, Fusion is the top-of-the-line harness and the perfect blend of lightness, strength, durability, and comfort. The Nova’s specially designed waistbelt ergonomically adapts to the female physique. In both models, the waistbelt and leg loops are constructed in layers: the central, load-bearing layer—made of laser-cut webbing—distributes the load widely and evenly and is paired with 3-millimeter EVA padding, an inner layer of highly breathable 3D mesh, and an outer layer of abrasion-resistant polyester. These features ensure lightness and strength even during intensive and prolonged use. It features four large gear loops, an additional rear loop for storing less frequently used gear, two slots for gear carabiners, and a loop for a chalk bag, while the service loop includes reinforced attachment points. The elastic lanyard connecting the leg loops is easily adjustable, featuring a single plastic quick-release buckle.
Four 10-point automatic and semi-automatic crampons: ALU, Hybrid, Nanotech, and STL, which differ in the materials used. What they have in common, however, is the Boot Adapt System (Pat. Pend.), an innovative design that ensures a perfect fit on both ski touring and mountaineering boots: by swapping the two toe pieces, this system allows you to optimize the crampon’s angle for different types of footwear without compromising lateral stability. The toe pieces, heel pieces, and lacing systems across the entire line are fully interchangeable, ensuring complete customization. The automatic front hook and the universal hook are included as standard to accommodate boots with or without a front cutout. The universal rear hook, on the other hand, allows all models to be mounted even on footwear without a rear cutout. Micrometric length adjustment is possible thanks to the double row of holes on the stainless steel shank, which can be set on the toe piece in two positions to cover a wide range of sizes, including very small ones. The same shaft also features a webbing strap to fold the crampons and minimize bulk during transport. The ALU model is made of aluminum, making it very lightweight for ski tours; Hybrid, on the other hand, features a steel toe for maximum grip on ice and mixed terrain, while the heel is made of aluminum to reduce overall weight— an excellent balance between strength and lightness; Nanotech is made of aluminum with a toe equipped with an innovative Alleima Nanoflex four-point stainless steel front insert, ideal for the most demanding ski mountaineers and mountaineers seeking a lightweight tool to tackle even icy sections; Finally, the STL is made of steel, making it excellent for classic and technical mountaineering or for challenging ski mountaineering.
An exclusive product from the Janja Garnbret line, this modern and functional climbing backpack is comfortable during approaches and ensures perfect organization and easy access to your gear. All this is made possible by the Full BackDoor system on the back panel, the all-around padded construction—which keeps the backpack upright even when placed on the ground—and the various external and internal pockets for storing smaller items separately. The back panel features breathable, thermoformed padding to promote airflow, while the ergonomic shoulder straps help enhance comfort. The chest strap and waist belt are adjustable and removable, allowing you to customize the backpack based on the nature of your approach.

Three extremely lightweight poles from the Active line: FX, Carbon FX, and Carbon ADJ, designed for dynamic use and ideal both for racing— especially trail running and ultra-trail—and for slower-paced activities such as hiking. The FX and Carbon FX consist of four segments with an internal steel cable measuring 1.5 millimeters in diameter and coated in polyamide; the Carbon ADJ, on the other hand, has five segments with the same characteristics. All three are offered together with the Micro (standard) and Duo (included in the package) baskets. The Micro, with its compact size, performs well in competitions and on denser terrain; the Duo, on the other hand, is modular, smaller in size for rocky terrain—where the conical shape reduces the risk of snagging—and larger for all-season use.

Active FX is a fixed-length folding trekking pole, available in six heights ranging from 110 to 135 centimeters. The shafts are made of 7075 aluminum alloy with a special treatment that increases their strength, while the tapered carbon-fiber joints, the internal polyamide-coated steel cable, and the elongated ergonomic foam grip (which allows for a grip at different heights) offer functionality and lightness. Active Carbon FX has the same features as the FX model but is lighter thanks to its carbon fiber construction in the tubes and connectors, minimalist yet elongated grips, and fixed straps: an excellent companion for races and fast & light adventures. Finally, the Active Carbon ADJ is the foldable and adjustable version of the Carbon FX. It extends from 107 to 130 centimeters thanks to aluminum clips, and when folded, it measures just 37 centimeters in length.

A versatile mountaineering ice axe that perfectly combines features that are typically difficult to reconcile in a single tool: modularity, lightness, balance, and sturdiness. A direct evolution of the Zenith, it enhances performance in technical settings while maintaining a low weight and excellent ergonomics. The forged head, equipped with a tapered blade, is highly effective even on challenging terrain. The tool’s modularity allows it to be configured according to specific goals and needs (with a hammer or shovel). The perfectly balanced Zenith Tech ensures an exceptional swing thanks to the optimized curvature of the handle and the standard quick-adjust trigger. It is very maneuverable, precise, and sta ble when resting on the tip.

A range of one- to three-person tents available in two different frame designs: Aero and SL. However, all tents share certain features: the outer tent is lightweight, durable, and waterproof, equipped with zipper flaps featuring taped seams and guy lines that ensure easy and secure tensioning. Both the outer flysheet and the inner floor are PFAS-free and provide waterproof ratings of 3,000 and 5,000 millimeters of water column, respectively; the mesh inner tent and ventilation openings on the outer flysheet promote constant airflow. There are also several internal storage pockets. The Minima Aero tents feature a freestanding structure with an integrated pole system, designed to ensure compactness, lightness, and excellent ventilation. The floor-securing system with an adjustable cord facilitates setup even on uneven ground. The two- and three-person versions, the Minima 2 Aero and Minima 3 Aero, offer a wider entrance with vestibules on both sides and a zippered opening on the inner tent that provides direct access to a storage area, useful for keeping backpacks and gear safe and dry. The Minima SL tents, which are extremely compact and ultralight, feature a tunnel-style design with a single entrance, ideal for those who want to minimize weight and bulk in their backpack. The setup system, featuring aluminum poles (small in diameter yet durable) housed in a sleeve, allows for quick and intuitive setup. The two-person model is also available in a Plus version, which is 20 centimeters longer than the Minima 2 SL. The weight ranges from 1.13 kilograms for the single-seater to 1.48 kilograms for the two-seater and 1.54 kilograms for the Minima 2 SL Plus and Minima 3 SL.

E9’s new climbing products are made in Italy from natural materials
For Spring/Summer 2027, E9 is renewing its connection with natural materials by bringing hemp back into the collection—a fiber that perfectly embodies the brand’s values. The new pieces reinterpret this material through contemporary, more relaxed, and versatile silhouettes, creating a collection designed to effortlessly and lightly accompany climbers

Among the new additions to the SS 27 collection, QUESTA T-shirt stands out, expanding the E9 line by introducing an oversized fit in line with contemporary trends and an increasingly comfort-oriented approach. Made from a blend of hemp and organic cotton, it combines the natural properties of both fibers to ensure coolness, breathability, and a pleasant feel against the skin—even on the hottest days. The loose fit follows every movement without restriction, making it ideal for both climbing sessions and moments of relaxation. The minimalist design is enhanced by the logo label on the chest—a detail that reflects the brand’s identity—while the “Made in Italy” craftsmanship underscores E9’s commitment to quality construction and attention to detail.
on both days at the crag and in everyday city life. Durable, breathable, and comfortable against the skin, this fiber remains an ideal choice for those seeking lightweight, functional, and durable gear for any outdoor activity, without compromising the clean, authentic style that has always defined E9.
After several seasons, hemp is back in the spotlight, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to rediscovering a natural fiber with extraordinary qualities that combines performance and comfort. Among the most durable natural fibers, hemp stands out for its high breathability, its pleasant feel against the skin, and its exceptional durability. It naturally regulates moisture, promotes comfort even during physical activity, and, over time, becomes softer without losing its technical properties. Combined with organic cotton, it gives rise to garments designed for the outdoors and climbing, in which functionality, technical performance, and attention to materials strike a natural balance.

It offers a modern take on one of the iconic pieces of the climbing wardrobe, combining a comfortable silhouette with features designed to ensure freedom of movement. Made from a blend of hemp gabardine, organic cotton, and lyocell, it combines the durability of natural fibers with a soft, pleasant feel, offering comfort both while climbing and in everyday wear. The new design with an elastic waistband further enhances the fit, accommodating movement without creating pressure points under the harness. The wide leg, adjustable at the hem, allows you to customize the fit to your needs, while the embroidery on the back hem is a detail that echoes E9’s signature casual style. The result is a versatile pair of pants, designed to transition seamlessly from the crag to the city.

These are one of E9’s most iconic women’s pants, reimagined with a natural twist. The new version is made from a gabardine fabric composed of hemp, organic cotton, and lyocell, offering the perfect balance of durability, lightness, and breathability while ensuring exceptional comfort even during extended wear. Designed to follow every movement on the rock, the model features an adjustable waist and cuffs, allowing the fit to be adapted to different situations, from climbing to leisure activities. The practical toothbrush holders on both sides—a classic detail for climbing enthusiasts—remain a staple, along with the signature embroidery on the back. Thanks to its oversized fit and Made in Italy craftsmanship, the Onda Over Hemp reaffirms the brand’s commitment to combining functionality, style, and innovation with natural materials.

Hanwag Kaduro Light Low, one of the highlights of the Bavarian brand—whose products are 100% made in Europe—features an innovative midsole developed in collaboration with BASF
Maximum durability and new lightweight designs characterize Hanwag’s SS 27 collection. The brand reinforces its alpine DNA and continues to build on over 100 years of mountaineering expertise, introducing a new generation of mountain and hiking footwear. The Bavarian mountain sports specialist has evolved its most famous designs, making them more efficient, agile, and comfortable, without compromising the ruggedness and durability that have always set the brand apart. Hanwag footwear also continues to be 100% manufactured in Europe.
NATURAL FIT, A NEW LAST
Hanwag is expanding its last portfolio with the new Natural Fit Last, bringing the total number of available lasts to five. Among its key benefits, the Natural Fit Last offers more space in the forefoot and, in particular, in the big toe area. This promotes a more natural roll and better ergonomic alignment of the foot. Combined with a reduced heel-to-forefoot drop, the new last also helps promote a more linear posture and ensures immediately noticeable walking comfort.
KADURO LIGHT LOW, THE SECRET LIES IN THE E-TPU BEADS
In 2025, Hanwag launched Kaduro, a sturdy and durable hiking boot featuring high energy return; the Kaduro Light Low, a lighter and more breathable version, is set to arrive for summer 2027. Hanwag Bead technology, featuring e-TPU beads integrated into the midsole, ensures long-lasting cushioning and noticeable energy return even over long distances. Hanwag developed this technology—unique in the outdoor footwear industry—in collaboration with the chemical company BASF; it absorbs the energy generated upon contact with the ground and releases it throughout the entire walk. At the same time, independent laboratory tests have shown that the midsole’s durability is up to 11 times greater than that of two well-established trail running shoes with EVA midsoles. The outsole package is rounded out by a specially developed tread pattern with a multifunctional design that offers optimal grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The tread is designed to wear down more slowly. In addition, the shoe is highly breathable: the soft fabric upper dries quickly, ensures a comfortable foot environment, and thus helps reduce friction and blister formation.

The Karpos collection features new and reimagined garments designed for tackling the mountains in all their various forms, from mountaineering to trail running
Karpos has introduced several new products designed for mountaineering, trail running, and summer hiking. With recycled fabrics, DWR treatments free of intentionally added PFAS, and targeted technical solutions, the brand reaffirms its focus on high-performance mountain apparel. All models are available in both men’s and women’s versions.
TECHNICAL FEATURES FOR SUMMER MOUNTAINEERING
The collection kicks off with the Sedole Jacket, an all-new hybrid jacket designed for summer mountaineering and the most challenging climbing routes. The recycled nylon shuttle-woven fabric, featuring a DWR treatment with no intentionally added PFAS, covers the torso and hood, while the side panels, underarms, and lower torso are made of Cordura nylon for maximum abrasion resistance against rock. The spacious front pockets are designed for use with a backpack and harness and feature an internal windproof flap; the jacket is completed by a contoured hood with a stiff brim and drawcord adjustment, as well as elastic cuffs at the sleeve ends.
LIGHTWEIGHT FOR TRAIL RUNNING
The Lavaredo Rain Evo Jacket—the lightest and most packable rain jacket in the Karpos lineup—is back with a new color palette. Designed for trail running, but also ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and mountaineering, it’s made from 2.5-layer 100% recycled nylon fabric with a DWR treatment that contains no intentionally added PFAS, offering a water column rating of 20,000 millimeters and breathability of 25,000 g/m²/24h thanks to its hydrophilic membrane. It features waterproof YKK zippers, taped seams, and a contoured hood with a stiff brim and an adjustable drawcord. An elastic mesh pouch that attaches to the backpack makes it a companion you’ll always want to have with you.
Introducing the Giau 50+ Jersey, a technical T-shirt designed for sunny days in the mountains, featuring fabric with UPF 50+ protection certified to the AS/ NZS 4399 standard. The soft, stretchy, 100% recycled fabric is treated with Polygene odor control; the absence of labels on the inside of the neck minimizes any discomfort against the skin. Designed for hiking, this model will be available in short-sleeve and long-sleeve versions with a regular fit, as well as a short-sleeve version with a looser fit.
Rounding out the collection are the Rock Evo Pants, an evolution of the Rock Pants, which carry on their legacy while updating them with a more modern and minimalist look. The construction is hybrid: on the back at the end, the bielastic fabric—breathable and soft to the touch—ensures maximum freedom of movement, while the nylon front panel is more durable and offers UPF 40 sun protection. Both areas are treated with DWR without any intentionally added PFAS. The garment is completed by a drawcord at the waist for a custom fit, two YKK zippered pockets, a thigh pocket, and a back pocket—both zippered. The common thread throughout the collection is the pursuit of a balance between technical performance and environmental impact: recycled fabrics, DWR treatments free of intentionally added PFAS, and construction solutions designed for intensive use on rock and trails—features that reaffirm the identity of a brand that continues to speak, first and foremost, the language of the mountains.

Millet’s testing ground is the peaks of Mont Blanc, which serve as inspiration for creating intuitive solutions tailored to the real needs of all outdoor enthusiasts, from mountaineering to trail running
Among the various forms of climbing and mountaineering, bigwall climbing is a whole other discipline. Spending several days on a wall hundreds of meters high goes beyond the simple pursuit of performance: it changes the very nature of a journey, shifting the axis of time and space from horizontal to vertical; it is adventure stripped down to its bare essentials, bringing you even closer to the mountain as it changes with every meter climbed. Symon Welfringer, a Millet athlete and meteorologist, observes these changes during his expeditions: retreating glaciers, unstable classic routes, and seasons arriving earlier than usual. Under these upheavals, rock faces—once impassable and hostile—emerge as safer refuges. These challenges inspire the Trilogy Icon Big Wall collection: lightweight, durable, and versatile products designed to adapt to summer activities and current and future conditions. Light colors, long sleeves, roomy hoods, and reinforcements ensure protection, comfort, and durability.
Running long distances and up steep hills is no small feat—and not just physically. The farther you go, the more fatigue sets in and the more you lose your focus. This can be especially true in unstable weather conditions. The Intense line anticipates these variables with the Intense Pro 3L jacket and the Intense Wild backpack, which work together in perfect harmony. Tested and approved by Thomas Butez—product manager and elite trail runner—the jacket features a magnetic closure and intuitive access to the backpack, eliminating any unnecessary effort when energy is running low.

Its magnetic closure system ensures simple, intuitive use and quick access to your backpack, which can be stowed under the jacket thanks to the expandable pocket on the back. Minimalist and comfortable, it packs down into the mesh pocket integrated into the hood. The seams are heat-sealed, and the raglan sleeves provide greater freedom of movement. It will be available in Millet stores and on the e-commerce site starting in September 2026.

The entire collection features a minimalist, contemporary design, quick-drying technical fabrics, and construction designed to ensure comfort throughout the day.

Made from a lightweight, highly breathable fabric, it accelerates sweat wicking to keep the body dry even during prolonged use. It also features UPF 30 sun protection, capable of blocking up to 98% of UV rays—a feature that makes it particularly wellsuited for summer activities at high altitudes or in direct sunlight. Comfort, freedom of movement, and a clean, minimalist style make it a versatile piece that can easily be worn beyond just hiking.

With the Tuner I lanyard and the Dagger Hybrid crampon, Skylotec Outdoor aims to make rock and glacier climbing simple and hassle-free
Skylotec Outdoor’s SS 27 season features two new products designed to offer the right balance between safety and ease of use. Tuner I is an adjustable lanyard that simplifies belaying during rock climbing, while Dagger Hybrid is a hybrid crampon made of steel and lightweight alloy for those seeking reliable gear with a low weight.
Designed to allow for self-belaying while anchored and to quickly and instantly adjust the distance from the anchor, the Tuner I single lanyard features a new design that makes adjustment smoother and more gradual. Thanks to an optimized release mechanism, to lengthen or shorten the lanyard, simply grip the device and press the release button—regardless of which carabiner is used. The 9-millimeter cut-resistant dynamic rope absorbs the forces generated by falls with a fall factor of less than one, while the compact sewn end and the UHMWPE loop reduce weight and bulk without compromising durability.

The Dagger Hybrid combines lightness and durability thanks to a hybrid construction that pairs a hardened steel front section—designed to withstand the most intense stresses—with a lightweight alloy rear section, which helps keep weight down during long climbs. The 3-millimeter ballistic steel front points ensure effective penetration into compact ice and precision even on mixed and technical terrain, while the arrangement of the points improves stability and traction. The automatic lacing system has been optimized to fit the latest generation of mountaineering boots, and the interchangeable anti-clog plates prevent snow from accumulating under the crampon, ensuring consistent grip at every stage of the ascent.

Lightweight and functional, Rock Experience’s Syncro Line collection is designed to accompany outdoor adventures with precision, protection, and comfort, without adding unnecessary weight
At the heart of the collection is a focused exploration of materials and their strategic combination. Syncro Line is based on the concept of balance: between elasticity and durability, insulation and lightness, protection from external elements and the ability to promote breathability during the most intense moments. This vision takes shape through Double Wave technology, developed to create hybrid garments capable of responding to the body’s varying needs as it moves. Thanks to a double-wave design—which involves the synchronized use of two different fabrics—Double Wave balances elasticity and durability, creating functional zones that protect where needed and dissipate heat and moisture where the body needs it most. The result is clothing that follows the body’s natural movement, offering the best balance between protection and breathability, insulation, and weight. A solution designed for highly variable outdoor activities, where conditions change rapidly and clothing must be able to adapt just as quickly.

The Outlander Pack Hoodie is a technical fleece with a functional hybrid construction, designed to offer protection, breathability, and adaptability during outdoor activities. Available in men’s and women’s versions, it combines three materials strategically positioned to meet the specific needs of the body in motion. In the most exposed areas— such as the forehead, hood, and upper sleeves—it features Double Wave technology: a brushed polyester mesh fabric weighing 135 grams per square meter—thermal and highly breathable—paired with a 35-gramper-square-meter micro-ripstop fabric with a ciré finish, designed to reduce wind impact and enhance protection. The result is a garment that protects without overheating, ideal for activities where intensity fluctuates and the body alternates between periods of exertion and moments of rest. The slim-fit construction moves with you without restricting movement, while the integrated hood with a thin Lycra trim enhances comfort and fit. The elastic LYCRA cuffs and hem help maintain a secure fit, reducing heat loss The waist pockets, featuring zippers concealed by flaps, offer practicality and a clean aesthetic, while the packable design allows you to fold the garment into the pockets themselves thanks to the special zipper sliders.

The roll-top closure allows you to quickly adjust the backpack’s volume and securely fasten the cord. For every vertical adventure, from sport climbing to classic routes or via ferratas.
Salewa’s new Elevate Tex set was designed and tested on via ferrata routes in the Dolomites; it is lightweight, compact, and ergonomic. The lanyards are abrasion-resistant and ensure maximum safety and ease of use. Suitable for both outdoor climbing and indoor sessions, the Tenaya Aruma and Indalo climbing shoes
provide the sensitivity and stability needed for technical climbing

For the SS 27, Tenaya focuses on solutions tailored to different climbing styles while maintaining precision and comfort. Aruma and Indalo share the same technical approach but interpret climbers’ needs differently: the former prioritizes sensitivity and adaptability, while the latter focuses on power and support for the most challenging moves. Both incorporate the latest technologies that maximize control on the rock, ensuring a precise fit.
Designed to provide maximum feel on the wall, this climbing shoe features a soft yet structured construction that allows you to feel every hold while maintaining stability. The Aruma is designed for both indoor climbing and more technical sport routes thanks to its wraparound shape and “glove fit,” which improve lateral foot control. The 3.5-millimeter Vibram XS Grip outsole and TST 130 midsole ensure the right support during the push-off phase. The two-part sole construction also promotes greater adaptability, while the rubber reinforcement on the toe and instep enhances performance and protects the upper from abrasion. Weighing 217 grams, the shoe features the patented Draxtor Velcro closure system.

This model from the Tenaya line was developed for bouldering and high-level sport climbing. The highly arched construction concentrates force on the forefoot, ensuring precision on micro-holds and support on overhanging sections, without compromising sensitivity. The structured shape and snug fit keep the foot, arch, and heel perfectly in place, improving power transfer and stability during heel hooks and explosive movements. Key technical features include a microfiber upper, the Draxtor closure system with a wraparound strap, a 3.5-millimeter Vibram XS Grip outsole, and the GX 1.4 & TST 100 midsole, designed to deliver responsiveness and control. The result is a 320-gram climbing shoe capable of delivering maximum performance both on the crag and in the gym.

Every outdoor experience begins with preparation, continues with protection, and ends with proper recovery. This is the philosophy of SPORTLAB Milano, also shared by Francesco Puppi

Anyone who spends time in the mountains knows that performance isn’t just about training. The long hours on the trails, the sun, the wind, chafing, and recovery constantly put the body to the test. That’s why SPORTLAB Milano has developed a line of specialized products designed to support every phase of athletic activity.
The routine begins with Warmup Cream, which is ideal for preparing muscles and tendons for physical exertion. During exercise, Slider helps prevent chafing even on the longest runs, while Active Sun 50+ protects the skin with a formula designed for those who practice outdoor sports.
At the end of a workout or hike, Cooldown Cream—designed to aid in the recovery of muscles and tendons—and Feet Relax—a moisturizing, refreshing, and healing cream that restores comfort to your feet after many hours of activity—come into play.
This philosophy is also shared by Francesco Puppi, one of the most prominent figures in international trail running, who has chosen SPORTLAB Milano as part of his training and recovery regimen.
