It should be an enjoyable and even stimulating day,” says Supreme Lodge President Brian Vanicek, who will be introducing the new SPJST Model Lodge Program during the event. All 2011 and 2012 lodge officers and winning sales agents and their spouse/guest are invited to attend free of charge. Lodge members are also invited to attend. Their cost for the barbecue dinner is $10 per person. To facilitate attendance, every lodge will have mileage paid for at least one vehicle. Lodges that will be receiving incentive awards will be authorized mileage for up to two vehicles. Lodge presidents and secretaries received a letter last week informing them if their lodge will be receiving mileage for an extra vehicle. Award-winning sales agents have also been

PJST announced its 2012 membership program recently. “Tribute 2012: Happy Birthday, SPJST!” is the theme, and the program will reflect on yesterday, believe in today’s progress, and achieve for tomorrow.
“A strong emphasis will continue to be on families,” Supreme Lodge Vice President Gene McBride says. “Evaluating current members’ life insurance coverage and recruiting family of current members will continue to be a priority. Recognizing 100 percent SPJST families and generations of SPJST members will also be a continued focus.” The program includes incentives for members, lodges, lodge officers, youth clubs, and sales agents.

SPJST introduces
January 28 awards banquet in Temple to pay tribute to SPJST’s members, lodges
Lodge officers, sales agents, and members are cordially invited to the SPJST Awards Banquet set for Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Frank W. Mayborn Convention Center, located at 3303 North Third Street in Temple. The banquet’s theme coincides with this year’s membership campaign—Tribute 2012. Doors will open at 12 noon. A noon meal will not be served. The awards presentation begins at 1 p.m. followed by the banquet at 4:30 p.m. A cash bar Stuart Buchanan and food concession area will be available throughout the afternoon.
