From Cabbage to Cole Slaw to $5,000
Frank Pajestka, Sr. cuts cabbage the old-fashioned way as Helen Pajestka gets ready to make a really fine coleslaw for Lodge 80, Holland’s barbecue meal on October 30. The lodge sponsored the benefit fundraiser for Holland Volunteer Fire Department. The meal, along with a white elephant and bake sale, raised $5,000. Another $4,000 in donations was also presented to the fire department. More on pages 14 and 15.
