This sentence, taken from an essay written by Virginia Scott Miner, accurately describes our SPJST Youth Christmas Tree., , Each year, beautiful handmade ornaments take their place among other cherished ornaments from past ornament contests—and each one is as special as the young person who created it. That's what makes our tree so special! During the month of December, we would like to invite our members to visit the SPJST Museum to view the Youth Christmas tree and see the wonderful ornaments that our young people have created for this special tree. We would like to express our appreciation to all of the participants in this year's contest for their support and contributions. We would also like to congratulate the following winners:

Something Old and Something New Pictured above is the 1993 SPJST Youth Christmas tree on display in the SPJST Museum in Temple. Ornaments created by SPJST Youth Club members from around the state decorate the tree. The tree's old-fashioned setting incorporates various elements from the SPJST Museum collection. These SPJST Home Office employees get in the holiday spirit as they apply the finishing touches to a Christmas tree in the Home Office lobby. Pictured, from left, are Linda Johnson, Charissa Beggs, Lisa Kirby and Christy Benson.
