FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK A Correction. In the English section of the Vestnik dated January 19, 1972, first column, page 12, your editor erroneously wrote "Kostoryz Road" because Lodge No 56 Hall is on that road. Brother J. Stasa fraternally reminds vs that there is no P.O. Box at that hall and all correspondence should be addressed to: John Stasa, secretary, 1346 Daytona Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. • • The first line in last week's editorial should have read: Wednesday afternoon, January 12, instead of December 19. Three observant readers caught the error. —Thanks. The PC meeting was on Sunday, December 19. ♦ • Congratulations to all of our SPJST organizers on a job well done in 1971, which fact is reflected in SL Vice President J. B. Hejny's report in SL section. • • Remember that by January 31 . . All aliens must register, either at your local Post Office or at the nearest Naturalization Office. (2) You should register to vote because this is an important election year. (3) You must pay your city, school, county and state taxes to avoid penalty. There is quite a schedule That means success, if done, And it can be achieved With the help of everyone; So attend the meetings regularly And help with hand and heart, Don't be just a member But take an active part. Think this over members, Are we right or are we wrong? Are you an active member? Or do you just belong? place to watch the Super Bowl game; however, to several members of the ;SPJST Society it was a signal toward progress, when a group of members and guests assembled at the comfortable and spacious resort place owned by Mr. and Mrs. George Broxson of Lovelacly, in the East Texas pingwoods country. Upon our arrival, we were extended

a warm welcome and found most of the members and guests mingling around the fireplace watching the football game on television. Soon after arrival, a session followed for the prime purpose of reactivating Lodge Borovy Haj No. 74, Lovelady, which has been dormant for a length of time. District II Organizer Lad Zatopek acted as Master of Ceremonies and welcomed all those present with heartfelt and well-chosen words; he also thanked organizer, Brother Chester Shmoldas, who was instrumental in the reactivation of this lodge. Your editor was introduced and expressed a fitting and humorous short talk, also congratulated the officers and members of the lodge. District II Director Henry Vitek was introduced and brought greetings and offered his assistance at any time, and praised the members for their courage. Supreme Lodge President Nick A. Morris was introduced. He installed the lodge officers and gave the charge to each officer concerning their duty . . . Brother Morris touched briefly on the history of Lodge No. 74, Lovelady and related that this lodge was organized on March 29, 1908. The following charter members were: Harry Landa, Valentine Hanak (his wife joined in 1912), John Prasek, Charles Nastoupil, John Fabian, Frank Chudej, Anton Srnejkal and Frank
