The Blackout Generation is an independent collective of artists who campaign through art.

Whether in the form of art installations, comics, performances, open mics, events or concert halls, the denunciations remain the same, origins, the underprivileged, an oppressive society, or to put it more bluntly,“Babylon”.

Beneath this raw and violent appearance, long associated with hip-hop, lies a sense of resilience and mutual encourage.

To access it, nothing could be simpler : be yourself and see the light of committed art.

“where everything is so empty that words have weight”

Nicola Ricci is an Italian photographer born in Brussels in 2006 and currently based in Paris.

In 2021, when he inherited his mother's Yashica reflex camera, he discovered photography, the artistic form that most fulfilled him.

After graduating in 2024, he undertook photography studies and began to approach digital photography with an interest in news, events and documentary projects.

He creates images that tells a story, that make people pause to decipher them, appreciate the details, but also the obvious gist that does not seem so obvious by now: the human being.
