In a hard-fought battle on the diamond, the Eatonville Cruisers faced off against the Lakes Lancers April 2, resulting in a 3-0 loss for the Cruisers at home. The loss marks the seventh consecutive setback for the Cruisers this season. The game remained deadlocked through the first five innings, with both teams struggling to gain an advantage. Despite starting the game feeling under the weather, Eatonville's Payton Hanly delivered a resilient performance on the mound, limiting the Lancers to just three hits and striking out nine batters. However, after reaching a pitch count of 90, Hanly was relieved by Owen Archer, who faced tough opposition from Lakes' offense. Lakes broke the scoreless tie in the top of the sixth inning, capitalizing on a double by pitcher Aaron Miller to drive in a run. An error further boosted

advantage to three runs.
