Eatonville's 14U Bandits take home championship By Skip Smith

The 14U Bandits fastpitch team, comprised of girls between 13 and 14 from Eatonville, recently turned their hard work into a championship. Playing in the Thurston County Fastpitch Association, the Bandits secured a secondplace finish in conference play before going on to dominate the conference championship tournament held June 8-9. Their championship run culminated in an 8-4 victory over the Electric Tigers, solidifying their place as champions. Head Coach Morgan Northern couldn't have been more proud of her team's performance. “They all did amazing!” she exclaimed. Josie Lavergne, Olivia Benham, Teagan Johnson, Atalyee Smith, and Nikolette Reygers — seeing action throughout
the tournament. Notably, Olivia Benham delivered a stellar performance on the mound during the championship game.
The Bandits' defense was equally impressive, committing only two errors across the entire tournament.
Eatonville Eagles team with Relentless Wrestling for Family Fun & Charity By Skip Smith

Excitement is building in Eatonville as Relentless Wrestling, a professional wrestling promotion hailing from Spokane, prepares for its highly anticipated Western Washington debut at the Eatonville Eagles Club on July 20. Relentless Wrestling has been a force to be reckoned with in Eastern Washington, known for its hard-hitting action and featuring wrestlers who have gone on to perform on major stages like AEW, WWE, and Impact Wrestling. Now, they're bringing their brand of high-octane entertainment to the Eatonville. This isn't just about bringing
professional wrestling to Eatonville; it's about giving back to the community. The event is a fundraiser for the Eatonville Eagles, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in need. “People Helping People” is their motto, and last year alone, they donated over $250,000 to support the community through various programs. From holiday meals to youth sports, Mary Bridge Hospital to college scholarships, the Eagles leave no stone unturned when it comes to lending a helping hand.
