Let’s be honest with ourselves. Individuals may set out to leave a profound effect on the world, but only a select handful of people have the power to do so. No matter what that effect happens to be, positive or negative, the rest of us are forced to live with the consequences of another person’s decisions and actions. Generation Z showed the power of our collective efforts in the 2020 presidential election, when we contributed to the 159.8 million Americans who cast their votes, according to a CNBC article published on Nov. 18, 2020. If you have the privilege to vote, we strongly urge you to join the millions of voters across the nation and exercise your right to influence this year’s presidential election results. There are many things beyond our control in this world, but your voice has the power to lay the foundation for a better future. In this special election edition of the Spartan Daily, our goal is to inform you and give you the tools you need to be an educated voter.
