THE BRESSINGHAM GARDENS

Dear Customers,

All of us here at Bressingham would like to welcome you to The Bressingham Gardens Spring Catalogue 2026. It’s felt like a rather long winter so far for all of us this year, with leaden skies and rain since the beginning of the year. But as the days get longer and the weather warms we’re all hoping for a sunny spring so that we can get properly stuck into our gardens for the coming season.

Our catalogue this year is the most extensive we have put out with over 140 varieties of hardy perennials and grasses for you to choose from. Of those in the catalogue 49 have been awarded the highest garden merit award, the AGM from the RHS and we also have 29 varieties of our own Bressingham Gardens bred and introduced. All proven garden winners that will perform year after year in your gardens.

Unfortunately in this edition we don’t have anything new from our own breeding to offer but we have several really promising perennials currently in trials set for release next year. We also hope to have plants available for you later in the summer of Adrian’s latest selection, the magnificent Ajuga ‘Midnight Mystery’ the first dark purple leaved Ajuga with pink flowers so we will keep you posted as to when they will be available.

A few of the new additions to the catalogue this year are Anthemis ‘Cally Cream’ from Cally Gardens in Scotland, a long lasting summer performer with true flower power. Allium angulosum, a mid-sized perennial species with attractive curling upright leaf blades with marvellous pink flower heads that bees and butterflies adore. Coreopsis verticillata ‘Zagreb’ AGM the best of the dwarf selections. We also have Helenium ‘Red Army’ a compact long flowering selection that has really impressed here at Bressingham.

Our new Crocosmia varieties were so popular last year that we didn’t have enough stock left to include in this catalogue but be rest assured they will be available later in the summer.

We are fully committed to growing all of our plants in peat free compost with 75% of our stock now in peat free and we will be fully peat free by next year. All of our plants are supplied in 2 litre recyclable pots, unless otherwise stated, and all of our packing material is also fully recyclable. We pride ourselves on providing a quality product for an affordable price and remain one of the best value producers in the retail market.

Anyway we all hope that you find plenty of interest to fill those gaps, create new borders or fill those patio containers this season and look forward to providing you with excellent plants and service this coming season.

Happy Gardening

The Bressingham Gardens Team

Please note that a few plants in the catalogue have been marked on the webpage for delivery after April 1st so orders with these plants will be held for despatch after that date
