The giant LEGO blocks that were scheduled for the July block party wouldn’t work for an indoor event, so the smaller blocks were set up upstairs at the Grovedale for the kids to enjoy. Having a blast with the blocks were brothers Graham and Clark Owens on the left and Jack Lansue on the right. In the photo on the left, The Kingsville Military Museum brought in some interesting items for the kids to check out at the block party. Providing details about the items were Sarah Denunzio, left, and Jane Larsen.

In the photo on the right, Ted Rocheleau and his son T.J. of Butch’s Best BBQ Sauce combined with Miller’s Bakery for a display in the vendors’ alley. Ted shared that his product is becoming an “everything sauce”, as people are enjoying it not only on meat, but also on fruit, corn and even strawberry ice cream.
