By Mark Ribble With files from Paul Forman and Deanna Bertrand The 2026 Hogs for Hospice (H4H) Rally is once again in the books and once again, the community has embraced the annual event, from volunteers, vendors and visitors, to the thousands who watched the Ride To The Tip from the roadside and attended the concerts. The village of Wheatley also hosted the riders after they’d made their way to Point Pelee on Saturday, August 1, pulling out all the stops for over 1,000 riders who stopped to enjoy the small-town hospitality, complete with a live band, food and appreciated cold beverages. Although Sunday’s weather brought some steady downpours, it did nothing to dampen the spirits of those who braved the conditions to come to Seacliff Park. From Friday night’s opening concert night, where the Seacliff hill was packed with country music fans to Saturday’s rock night that heard the hill erupt into “Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone”, to Sunday’s Worship concerts, the music kept rolling all weekend long. Cole Swindell headlined Friday night with John Morgan as the opener. Saturday’s headliner was Live with Glass Tiger as the opener. Sunday’s headliner was Leeland with SEU Worship as the opener. The Leamington Ribfest was once again part of the H4H event, with longtime competitor Jack The Ribber sweeping the prize board. The Lions Club Pancake Breakfast and the always popular Kinsmen Club Hog Pen provided the nourishment alongside several food trucks, and the Roma Club hosted after parties on Friday and Saturday night. In the end, it’s all about the volunteers — some 540 strong — who gave up their weekend to help such a great cause. Additional pictures are on pages 12-13.
Little Ivy had the best seat in the house on dad Mackenzie Wyatt’s shoulders with mom Makenna alongside. The trio attended the Sunday night worships concerts.
