FREEBORN COUNTY AUDITOR/TREASURER
The Auditor-Treasurer provides overall leadership and direction of Freeborn County’s disbursements and receipting, tax, election and ditch authority operations. The Auditor – Treasurer oversees general administration of Auditor Treasurer Office and License Center. Prepares data and reports for the County financial statements, related worksheets, and records for reporting to the State. Annual salary range - $96,949 - $129,272 based on experience.

Probation Services Director
Freeborn County is seeking a Probation Services Director. This position leads a department of 15 staff, including probation, truancy, STS coordinator, support and veterans court staff. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years in the field of Corrections and understand evidence-based practices in the field. He/she must hold at least a BS degree in Corrections, Law Enforcement or a related field. The Director reports to the Court, presents budgets to the County Board, does grant reporting at both federal and state levels and attends meetings and trainings throughout the state. The position would start approximately October 1st, 2025.
