The East Troy School Board was finally able to agree about the open board seat and lack of officers at a special meeting June 4. The meeting came about when board members found out late last week the pending referendum bond to build the new elementary school and make improvements at other
district facilities has to be signed by the School Board president. The board has been operating as a four-member board without officers since last month because the board members couldn’t agree on whom to appoint to the open seat that was left when the term Brian Wexler was filling out expired on the third Tuesday in April. Country Thunder rolls into Twin Lakes Annual music festival set for July 20 to 23
Country Thunder returns to Twin Lakes, Wis., for its annual run July 20 to 23. Tickets can be purchased online at www. countrythunder.com, while supplies last. Need to know • Ticket prices are subject to change. Tickets are for sale at current price while supplies last; • To access the campgrounds, patrons must purchase a four-day weekend pass (RSVD or general admission); • If a wristband has been tampered with or removed it will not be re-issed – one ticket equals one wristband for the entire festival; • Wristbands are issued exclusively at the Country Thunder festival gates. Wristbands are secured on the wrists of patrons only by Country Thunder staff – if offered a wrist-
band outside of the festival gates, assume it is counterfeit; • General daily parking passes sold separately; • Visit Rules and Regulations at www. countrythunder.com for a list suggested items to bring, and what to leave at home; • Children age 12 and younger are admitted free with the purchase of an adult ticket; and • Tickets purchased at the Country Thunder website are emailed within 24 hours of purchase, with information attached. Read the directions in the information packet before arriving at the festival.
