Warhawks split games to open 2025 baseball season CORRESPONDENT
The Warren-Stockton Warhawks opened up the 2025 baseball season on March 17. That day, they also played their home opener as they played host to the Oregon Hawks. The 2025 Warhawks are a baseball team loaded with upper classmen. Warren-Stockton is coming off a season in which they finished 14-8 overall. They were a
fairly young team, however, and their success didn’t include a deep postseason run. This year, the Warhawks are back with an experienced roster of six seniors and five juniors. Treyton Pafford, Jacob Harbach, Braxten Kent, Ethan Steien, Will Stietz, and Brady Steitz are the six seniors. Drue Guerrero, Blake Zink, Jordan Kohl, Noah Larson, and Bryce VanRaalte are the juniors on this year’s Var-
sity squad. It didn’t take long for the experienced Warhawks to get their bats going. Warren-Stockton jumped into the score column in their very first at bats of 2025. Will pitched four innings, allowing zero runs and zero hits, while

cess at the plate. They combined for nine hits in the season opener. Pafford went two for two in the game. Brady was a perfect three for three with three RBI. Larson went two for four with one RBI of his own. The Warhawks held on to win the game by a score of 10-6, starting the season 1-0.
The Warhawks found themselves on the other side of things when they hit the road for their first away game of the season. On Wednesday, March 19 Warren-Stockton traveled to take on a wellknown Pearl City squad. Things were looking good
