On the cover The Village of Palmyra kicked off its holiday season with the annual Lions Club Parade along Main Street on Dec. 2, followed by the tree lighting at the Turner Museum. The Grinch gets a sweet ride on a tractor in last year’s parade. In Whitewater, the annual Holiday Parade of Lights was held Dec. 1. Third graders share their Christmas wishes Mrs. Andrysczyk’s third grade class in the Palmyra-Eagle Area School District took some time to share what they hope to receive for Christmas this year. The class “has been doing well with good behavior and we have been working hard to improve our skills,” according to Mrs. Andrysczyk. Here are the top items on the students’ wish lists:
I would like a Magic Mixie and a Dreamhouse.
I would like an elf for the class this year.
Can I go on your sleigh to ride on? I want an Elf on the Shelf and a Barbie Dreamhouse. I want a Luigi figure toy. I would like an Avatar Lego set.
I would like a new TV, and a new Playstation 4 Controller.
I would really love a new Playstation 5 Controller. I would like a new paint set and a new Stichmallow. I would also like a new Playstation 5 Controller.
I know I’ve been good, and I hope you think that, too. All I am asking for is a new Barbie Dreamhouse that I’ve wanted for three years.
