The following people were charged with these Class H and I felony offenses in Walworth County Circuit Court between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1: Class H Class H, punishable by up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines: Bail jumping • Shawn R. Campbell, 30, of Burlington; felony bail jumping, battery, two counts of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, all with domestic abuse assessments. Campbell allegedly hit his girlfriend, threw her around and stomped on her head at their Town of Spring Prairie home Aug. 23 while under bond conditions on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping that included having no contact with the woman or her home
Throwing bodily fluids • Lucas C. Williams, 23, of Elkhorn; two counts of throwing or discharging bodily fluids at a public safety worker and disorderly conduct. Williams allegedly spit at a police officer and a correctional officer while being apprehended after stealing a bag of chips from Speedway in Elkhorn on Aug. 26. He registered .276 on a preliminary breath test and was on probation with a condition that he consume no alcohol, according to the complaint.
Drugs • Robert N. Walkowski, 30, of Waterford; possession of narcotic drugs, misdemeanor bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia. Walkowski was found with fentanyl and a spoon with a burnt bottom after he crashed a vehicle in the Town of Lyons on April 28, according to the complaint. He was under Class I bond conditions at the time on Class I, punishable by up a Racine County charge of posto 3-1/2 years in prison and session of drug paraphernalia.
Man charged with 7th OWI in Elkhorn A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18 for an Elkhorn man charged with a seventh drunken driving offense. Michael L. Krohn, 50, was charged Sept. 1 in Walworth County Circuit Court with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, both seventh offense. According to the criminal complaint, Krohn was apprehended at about 7:10 a.m. Aug. 31 at East Market Street east of North Wisconsin Street in Elkhorn. He smelled like alcohol, had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech and admitted drinking a beer, according to the complaint. Krohn was convicted of drunken driving in February 1989, May 1994, December 1997, February and March 2003 and January 2010. If convicted of a seventh offense, he will serve at least
