Secured the door. 3:50 p.m. – officer called to check on dogs in trailer that were barking on East Court Street. Contact made with dog owner by another subject. All okay, dogs had water and fan in trailer and owner had let out an hour ago. 4:22 p.m. – reckless driver who caller stated almost ran

Attempted to make contact but nobody answered. 1:59 a.m. – officers notice vehicle with keys in ignition and window down on South Broad Street. Contacted vehicle owner, stated nephew was in shop working. Would secure the vehicle. 5:03 a.m. – officer observed a vehicle going at a high rate of speed on East First Avenue. Driver had an expired license and was issued a citation. 6:32 a.m. – Frank’s Piggly Wiggly employee said two males came into store on West Market Street. One had two rock star drinks in his hand and was observed putting a third in his pocket. Made contact before the checkout and the male said that he just couldn’t hold all three drinks and put one into his pocket. The store wanted contact with the subject to tell him he was not welcome in the store anymore. 6:44 a.m. – officer met with caller who stated when he arrived home from work he found his vehicle struck on driver side on South Wisconsin Street. 9:55 a.m. – officer delivered elderly meals to apartments on East Court Street. 11:10 a.m. – Monroe Funeral Home requesting escort to city limits from St. Johns Lutheran going out of town to Roselawn Cemetery. 2:02 p.m. – a subject called to report a scam on North Lincoln Street. A detective spoke with the caller it was suggested contact banks and had cards replaced to be on the safe side. 3:27 p.m. – crash with no injuries on South Lincoln Street. Officer collected information and the driver at fault was cited for inattentive driving. Both vehicles could be driven away. 11:49 p.m. – officer observed vehicle with no back plate on East Jefferson Street. Upon contact driver did have temporary plate. It had fallen out of back window onto floor.
July 9 10:06 a.m. – officer assisted with elderly food delivery to apartments on East Court Street. 10:49 a.m. – witness driving to work observed a semi turn right off of South Washington Street onto East Geneva Street and strike the wooden pole leaving some debris on the roadway.
