messing with it. 8:46 p.m. – officer observed vehicle traveling at high rate of speed on West Walworth Street. Driver stated he wasn’t paying attention. Citation for speeding. 11:06 p.m. – officer observed individuals at the park on South Devendorf Street. Warned of park hours. June 9 1:21 a.m. – officer observed truck with hazards on pulled over on Highway 12. Advised of better location as truck was right off ramp of Highway 12. Driver stated he would be on his way. 8:01 a.m. – loud exhaust on North Lincoln Street. Driver is revoked and was issued citation. Also issued written warning to repair exhaust. 8:49 a.m. – officers responded to a two car accident with injury on South Lincoln Street. Vehicle one was northbound on Highway 67 and was turning onto northbound Interstate 43 and pulled in front of vehicle southbound on Highway 67. Both vehicles were towed. A citation will be issued when all information is gathered as the striking vehicle was new and did not have a plate or was registered at the time. 9:20 a.m. – damage to property call on West Hazel Ridge Road. Subject stated sometime overnight mailbox was struck. 10:27 a.m. – anonymous complaint of loud music on North Monica Drive. Officer drove past area. No music was heard. 7:56 p.m. – DPW needs vehicle moved that is blocking a storm drain on East Prescott Street. Dispatch contacted owner who got the vehicle moved. 9:14 p.m. – wire and large tree down across entire roadway on North Spencer Street. Officers arrived. Closed portion of road. DPW arrived and cleared tree, restoring telephone line. June 10 12:38 a.m. – door open on East Centralia Street. Officers went through building, nothing suspicious. 12:50 a.m. – officer removed tree branches from road on North Broad Street. 4:33 a.m. – car in parking lot with running lights on when went to bed just got up and the running lights are still on West Gorman Street. Contact attempted at apartment with no answer. Voicemail left, vehicle was secure. 10:54 a.m. – large amount of bulk items and trash on the terrace on North West Street. Call placed to landlord.

12:37 p.m. – subject called to report bike stolen from residence on East Walworth Street. 3:15 p.m. – a detective observed a subject riding a bike that matched the description of one stolen on East Geneva Street. Contact made with rider. He admitted that he took the bike. The subject had a warrant. He was taken into custody and drugs were found during search of his person. Agency denied holding subject on the warrant and asked that he call them. The phone number was provided to the subject and he was released. The bike was returned to the owner. 3:37 p.m. – officer dispatched to meet with subject who found a syringe on South Wisconsin Street. Syringe appeared unused and was disposed of in sharps container. 4:08 p.m. – officer stopped vehicle after registration was ran and registered owner was revoked on South Lincoln Street. Driver cited. 5:02 p.m. – abandoned vehicles located on property on South Eastown Manor. Officer made contact he is trying to get one of the vehicles back in working order and the other belonged to his deceased grandmother. He was informed how to get the title transferred. 5:13 p.m. – abandoned vehicle located on property on South Eastown Manor. Officer left voicemail for vehicle owner and explained ordinance. 5:18 p.m. – possible impaired driver now parked on West Hidden Trail. Officer arrived on scene and learned that subject had cut food and was on way to get it stitched up. Subject was determined to not be impaired. 10:37 p.m. – complainant states vehicle was stolen on West Walworth Street. Officers matched the VIN with the vehicle towed and located at Purcell’s in Delavan. 11:13 p.m. – observed vehicle running with lights off on West Oconnor Drive. Made contact with subject who was making a trip up north and pulled over. Advised of rest stop on Interstate 43 or park and ride would be a better option. Verbal warning. 11:57 p.m. – officer observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed on South Lincoln Street. Stopped vehicle. Stated he was driving fast as he was late to get home for curfew. Verbal warning for curfew, citation for speed. June 11 4:27 a.m. – observed a vehicle with a headlight out on East Deere Road. Issued verbal warning for headlight and expired plates. 9:56 a.m. – two car minor crash on West Geneva Street. Failed to stop completely at the stop sign and struck northbound. Cited for failure to yield. 10:58 a.m. – black lives matter stencils found on the traffic signal boxes at the intersection of Wisconsin and Walworth and Wisconsin and Court. Public works notified and graffiti photographed. 11:07 a.m. – report of a suspicious vehicle in driveway on Glenridge Lane. Found subjects inside looking at the residence. Neighbor was showing house to people who are interested in it. House is for sale. 12:06 p.m. – located a wallet on South Washington Street. Property was released to owner, wallet, ID, cards and cash. 12:35 p.m. – dispatched to meet with complainant regarding a minor accident that
occurred in the parking lot of West Market Street. North and southbound vehicles were both turning into the parking lot. Northbound vehicle that had the right of way was stopped waiting to turn into the lot when vehicle turned in front and hit front bumper. 1:04 p.m. – officer dispatched to meet with complainant regarding car getting keyed on East First Avenue. Unknown who did the damage. See case record for additional information. 1:11 p.m. – subject called to request extra patrol as many vehicles are speeding past house on Amos Road. 2:43 p.m. – officer stopped vehicle for speed violation on East Geneva Street. Driver cited. 3:01 p.m. – property maintenance issued with garden over growing onto the sidewalk on West Walworth Street. Officer attempted contact at residence, no answer. Green tag left. 3:04 p.m. – report of three vehicle crash where third vehicle rear-ended second vehicle causing second vehicle to rear end first vehicle in line on South Lincoln Street. Vehicle two driver cited for no insurance and vehicle three driver cited for following too closely. 7:33 p.m. – observed vehicle speeding on North Wisconsin Street. Officer initiated stop. All occupants did not speak English. Walworth SO assisted with translation. Cited for OWL first, verbal warning for speeding. 8:17 p.m. – officer observed vehicle with no registration plates on Schmidt Road. Stopped vehicle, driver had proof of purchase from yesterday. Driver was verbally warned. 8:19 p.m. – possibly intoxicated driver on East First Avenue. Made contact with subject. Driver stated was driving slowly because the tailgate was tied down on the table and hit the shoulder once. Driver encouraged to practice safer driving. 8:44 p.m. – officer observed vehicle with a defective headlamp on East Grant Street. Vehicle stopped and driver verbally warned for headlamp and written warning for license not on person. 9:30 p.m. – stop for loud muffler on South Wisconsin Street. Driver cited for expired registration. 9:38 p.m. – officer observed vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on North Wisconsin Street. Vehicle stopped and driver issued warning. 10:31 p.m. – observed a vehicle violating the posted speed limit on North Wisconsin Street. Vehicle stopped driver verbally warned for speed and cited for expired license. Passenger was valid.
June 12 1:46 a.m. – observed a vehicle at park after hours on South Devendorf Street. Stated he was there playing Pokemon Go. Officer informed that the park was closed. Driver given warning. 3:09 a.m. – Speedway asking for assistance in getting a bird out of the building on South Lincoln Street. Officer attempted to assist inside the store. Bird flew out of sight and was unable to locate. 11:51 a.m. – found a bike next to garage on North Wisconsin Street. Caller states that it was by garage in the morning. Mother of owner of bicycle came in and said people who found bike had informed her they turned it over to the police.
