Vehicle stopped and driver verbally warned. 8:25 p.m. – an officer observed a vehicle on shoulder of I-43 ramp. Vehicle was unoccupied; tagged for 24 hours. 9:48 p.m. – basketball hoop in roadway that fell on South Eastown Manor. Hoop was moved out of the way. 10 p.m. – large crowd reported outside on East First Avenue. Officers walked around the buildings to find sources of noise. Found group of approximately eight people. Verbal warning. 10:24 p.m. – drunk people reported in parking lot being loud and disorderly on East First Avenue. Officers spoke

with the group while at the same address for the previous call. The group understood and was going inside shortly. 10:30 p.m. – an officer observed large tree branches in the roadway on East First Avenue and removed them. June 3 12:26 a.m. – observed a door open on South Washington Street. Officers checked inside; all was secure and appeared okay. 1:27 a.m. – observed a vehicle in a closed business parking lot on North Wisconsin Street. No occupants and vehicle was confirmed secured. Business was locked as well. 7:55 a.m. – an officer observed a large plastic tarp wrapped around the crosswalk sign most likely from the overnight storm on East Court Street. The tarp was removed and placed in the grass area. 10:19 a.m. – a flatbed trailer was stalled on the ramp to Interstate 43. The officer assisted the truck driver with placing emergency triangles. His company had a tow en route and would be there soon. 12:42 p.m. – alarm; met with the maintenance person who just completed work at the building on East Morrissy Drive. The alarm was reset. 3:14 p.m. – a business owner called to ask for assistance in getting a hold of driver of a vehicle parked in a private parking space on South Wisconsin Street. 4:43 p.m. – an officer observed a vehicle without a front plate on East Court Street. Return on registration showed registered owner was suspended. The driver was cited for OWS– fourth offense and no insurance. 5:38 p.m. – report of hitand-run on North Church Street. A witness observed the driver of the striking vehicle back out and hit the landscape rock and then pull forward striking the parked vehicle. An officer made contact with the driver of striking vehicle at their residence and they didn’t realize they had hit anything. Cited for hit and run. June 4
9:56 a.m. – subject noticed a purse in the roadway on South Devendorf Street. There was an envelope with it with name on it. Checking with the property owner. 11:45 a.m. – officers assisted with funeral escort on North Wisconsin Street going out of town. 3:01 a.m. – stopped vehicle for speeding on East Geneva Street. Driver identified with suspended DL. Driver cited for operating while suspended. Waited for licensed driver to pick up. 4:38 a.m. – stopped vehicle that was in the middle of traffic not moving on East Centralia Street. Was waiting for other cars to turn. It was explained the cars stopped at stop signs yield to her. Understood and was given directions to Highway 12. 5:30 a.m. – caller states there are people driving boats on the lake, they were told only man powered boats were allowed on Proctor Drive. Ski show practice. Caller informed. 6:59 p.m. – assisting with traffic control for senior walk on East Court Street. 7:01 p.m. – a car backed in to truck while both backed out of a business driveway on North Lincoln Street. Crash report completed. 9:33 p.m. – CO detector activated, no symptoms on West Sedgemeadow Street. False alarm. June 5 12:40 a.m. – observed vehicle parked at a closed business on West Evergreen Parkway. Vehicle was unoccupied and nothing appeared out of the ordinary. 9:17 a.m. – caller states cat has gone missing on North Patricia Street. Described as grey and white. 10:46 a.m. – responded to a vehicle that lost a tire while making a right turn on East First Avenue. Assisted with obtaining a tow. 4:30 a.m. – someone rear-ended caller, no airbags or injuries on North Wisconsin Street. 4:47 p.m. – a secondary crash occurred due to the traffic backup from a prior crash on North Wisconsin Street. A truck rear-ended a stopped car and the truck was then rear-ended by another vehicle. Crash report
completed. 10:14 p.m. – traffic stop for a headlight out on North Wisconsin Street. Written warning. 10:35 p.m. – traffic stop for speeding on North Wisconsin Street. Written warning. 10:56 p.m. – informed of a reckless driver on West Hidden Trail. Officer made contact with the driver who stated was just tired from driving. No signs of impairment of intoxicants. June 6 12:06 a.m. – traffic stop on a bicyclist with no headlight or taillight and who was riding on the wrong side of the roadway on North Wisconsin Street. Verbal warning. 12:16 a.m. – traffic stop on a vehicle for unnecessary use of the vehicle’s horn on North Wisconsin Street. The driver was non-compliant and started to drive away, stopped a short distance later. Refused to identify. Was removed from the vehicle and detained until identity was confirmed. Spontaneously admitted there were drugs in the car. The vehicle was searched and marijuana was located. 3:19 p.m. – officer dispatched to two-vehicle accident on Oconnor Drive. No injuries. Striking vehicle failed to yield right of way to vehicle coming straight. Striking vehicle issued citation and written warning for insurance. 6:52 p.m. – caller can smell either on the north side of property when the wind blows from the west on Deere Road. Officer checked the area and once in a while officer could faintly smell something similar to spray paint. No source located. 9:26 p.m. – dispatched to a fireworks complaint on South Lewis Street. Was able to locate the male involved with setting off the fireworks and explained the city ordinance. Issued a verbal warning. 10:08 p.m. – traffic stop for no front license plate on North Wisconsin Street. Written warning. 11:50 p.m. – traffic stop for no taillight on a motorcycle on North Wisconsin Street. Verbal warning.
